But he quickly averted his gaze and looked back at Clara Grant. He didn't press the issue, instead taking a business card from his pocket and handing it to her. "This is my card. If any issues arise, feel free to call the number on it to reach me. May I have your last name, miss?"
Clara Grant took it and saw the name printed on it: Marcus Jarvis.
She smiled and was just about to speak when Seth Quinn cut in, "Seth Quinn. She's my wife."
As he spoke, he wrapped an arm around Clara Grant's waist, as if declaring his ownership. His gaze toward Marcus Jarvis wasn't exactly friendly.
Marcus Jarvis was taken aback for a moment, but then he simply smiled without saying anything.
Clara Grant, however, blushed and struggled slightly. "Mr. Jarvis, my name is Clara Grant, and my mother is Skylar Hayes."
