Filming was postponed, so Clara Grant returned to her hotel to rest. As she walked down the hallway, she saw Faye Jennings up ahead, walking toward her.
Clara Grant had reached her hotel room, so she stopped and waved to Faye Jennings. "Faye!" she called out in greeting.
Faye Jennings had been walking with her head held high, but as soon as Clara called out, she paid her no mind. Instead, she lowered her gaze to the phone in her hand.
A moment later, she reached her own door, opened it, and went inside.
The entire motion was seamless, as if she hadn't seen Clara Grant at all.
But Clara Grant was certain Faye Jennings had seen her. In fact, she was sure she'd seen a flash of displeasure on Faye's face the moment she'd looked her way.
Puzzled, Clara Grant let herself into her room. Holly Summers, who had no scenes to film, was sprawled across the bed, her legs dangling and swinging idly.
