She instinctively glanced down, and her face immediately began to burn. She must have been so lost in thought that the thin blanket she was clutching to cover herself had slipped away without her noticing.
Her nightgown was so skimpy it barely covered anything, leaving large patches of her skin exposed.
She snatched the blanket and pulled it back over her body. 'Isn't it even more dangerous being at home with this hungry wolf?' she grumbled to herself.
"You... get out!" Clara snapped, mortified.
Deprived of the beautiful view, a flicker of disappointment crossed Seth's eyes. His gaze returned to her face. "Fine. Come down for some congee when you're washed up."
With that, he gave her another meaningful look before turning to leave, closing the door behind him.
