She glanced at the photos before getting out of bed and opening the wardrobe. It was full of clothes, all in colors someone her age would love.
'Were these prepared for me?'
'He's really willing to provide for me.'
'If only he'd found Mom sooner. Maybe I would have had a little brother or sister.'
'How happy would our family have been?'
The more she thought about it, the more her heart ached.
