Cecilia Adler glanced over but didn't say anything.
The old man continued, "I've been talking for a while. Can you understand me? I'm originally from Mount Kael."
"I can understand most of it," Cecilia Adler said.
"You can understand all that, but my daughter-in-law claims she can't. Don't you think she's doing it on purpose?" As the old man waited for Cecilia Adler's answer, he noticed a string of Copper Coins hanging behind her door. "We have those at home, too. The villagers took them when they divvied up the landlord's estate. They're completely worthless."
Cecilia Adler finally looked up from her cutting board. "If they're worthless, why did you bother taking some?"
