Ian Quincy: "Can't you just find some random high school to issue Cecilia a diploma? What's the big deal?"
Jim Quincy: "....Alright, fine."
Cecilia Adler was thrilled.
Though she had never been to a library, she had heard from the students that they had every kind of book inside.
Best of all, it didn't cost any money. You could read whatever you wanted.
It would be the perfect place to further her education.

When the food arrived, Jim Quincy picked out a duck leg and placed it in Cecilia Adler's bowl.
Cecilia Adler watched him, her brow furrowing almost imperceptibly.
'Is it really appropriate for a father-in-law to serve food only to his daughter-in-law?'
'At any rate, she'd never seen such a thing back in the countryside.'
Jim Quincy must have felt it was improper too, as he quickly put another one in Ian Quincy's bowl. "One for each of you."
