Ian Quincy was also utterly disgusted. Thank God Old Quincy had chosen Cecilia for him. If he'd been stuck with someone as shameless as Vivian Lee, he would have died of anger.
To change the subject, he said, "Honey, how about we take a walk around the streets here?"
"Okay."
The two of them took a walk along the street.
On their way back, the sharp-eyed Cecilia Adler spotted two small, white, soybean-sized beads on the ground. She picked them up, placing them in her palm. "What are these? They're kind of oval-shaped."
After examining them closely, Ian Quincy said, "They look like Zebra Finch eggs."
"Zebra Finches? Are there birds that small?" Cecilia Adler was intrigued.
"Mhm, hummingbirds are even smaller."
Cecilia Adler asked, "Can they be hatched?"
"Why don't you try?" A rare, gentle look appeared on Ian Quincy's face. "I raised some when I was in school. Zebra Finches are very clingy. They'll land on your shoulder, on your hand, and play with you."
