Yan Feifan hadn't expected it. Some time had passed since Xv Jiande had concocted the so-called "International Training Program for a Hundred Young Doctors" through a series of complex maneuvers just to trick him into going abroad. Only now were the negative repercussions starting to surface.
He'd had his suspicions before, after hearing that the list of participants for the training program in Jingcheng had been more or less decided internally.
'Perhaps, when those people found out they couldn't go abroad for the training, they wouldn't blame the schemer behind it all. They would just point their fingers at me, the one who caused the program's cancellation.'
Unexpectedly, Yan Feifan's guess had come true.
Worse, a young doctor had used his own life as a form of protest.
However, Yan Feifan didn't take the young doctor's accusation to heart.
'Damn it, I didn't do anything wrong.'
