West blinked. "What?"
"I'll still be your assistant," she crossed her arms. "I'll do my normal work. I'll organize schedules, handle information, help with operations, deal with paperwork, and tell you when you're being an idiot."
Jax immediately nodded. "That's important."
West ignored him while Aria continued.
"I'm not becoming an awakened so I can suddenly start acting like one of your frontline fighters."
West thought about it before nodding. "No problem."
Aria smiled. "Good."
West leaned back. "Then it's decided."
He looked around the room. "My parents and Liz get protection devices."
He looked toward Aria. "And Aria becomes an awakened."
Everyone nodded while West reached into his inventory... but instead of pulling out a physical object, he stared into empty space.
