The guard tried to stop upon spotting West ahead, but momentum betrayed him.

He slid forward with his eyes widening in pure terror.

Before he could even complete his sentence, West hand moved at superspeed.
CRACK~
A clean, horrifying sound swept across the place as the man's neck snapped 180° backwards.
His eyes rolled white as he dropped to the ground lifeless.
An oppressive silence followed while West stood there for a moment before turning around and walking back casually as if nothing had happened.
The remaining guards didn't move an inch. Sweat dripped down their faces while their hands trembled. Some looked like they might collapse on the spot.
