Chapter 413 - The Multi-Element Monster

King Pratesias and Lionias's eyes widened, unable to conceal the profound shock that had just shattered their composure.

The deadly blind-spot attack, previously nearly undetectable to the senses, had just been dismantled so effortlessly. Even more terrifyingly, the attack was not merely anticipated, but countered with a reflex speed that defied all logic.

The confidence that had taken deep root in their chests, along with the pride in their status as the strongest humans, slowly began to crumble.

Realizing that the situation had suddenly turned dire, King Pratesias immediately snapped his head, glaring sharply at his youngest brother, Lionias.

"Summon your slave here! Now!"

Hearing the absolute command from his eldest brother, Lionias did not argue. He nodded quickly, understanding perfectly well that they needed additional combat strength if they wanted to make it out of this room alive.

Without wasting a single second, Lionias turned his body. He hurriedly ran down the steps of the throne on the other side, rushing toward the corridor to fetch his slave who was still inside his room.

On the other side of the chaotic throne room, Arvin merely stood still in his position. His eyes followed Lionias's retreating figure, but he had absolutely no intention of launching a long-range attack at the royal family member who chose to flee the battlefield.

A condescending smirk etched across his lips.

"So, after all that arrogance and mocking laughter, you are now asking a slave for help to fight me? Truly ridiculous and pathetic."

Hearing that crushing insult, King Pratesias grew furious. He glared fiercely at Arvin.

"I assure you, you will regret that arrogance, Vedegra!" Pratesias threatened loudly. "Because once he arrives in this room, we will all make sure you die!"

The statement just shouted by the supreme leader of the Victoriaz Kingdom sounded so naive to Arvin's ears. He scoffed softly, looking at the King as if he were watching a rambling fool.

"Waiting for him to arrive?" Arvin said in a sharp, cynical tone. He slowly raised his sword, pointing it straight at Pratesias's face. "Do you think this is a kid's brawl, where we have to wait for our opponent to get ready?"

Zap!

Arvin's figure, which a second ago was still standing calmly amidst the ice debris, vanished completely from sight.

Pratesias was beyond shocked when he realized the last Vedegra descendant had appeared right before his eyes.

Pratesias truly never expected that, besides his brother, there was someone else in this world who could also use blink magic. That fact forcefully shattered all his tactical calculations.

"You will die if you don't fight back!"

Along with those words, the sword in Arvin's hand swung with full force to slash the King's neck from a point-blank range.

Clang!

A loud clash, like metal striking solid steel, echoed sharply.

The sword had slashed precisely at Pratesias's neck. However, the sharp blade couldn't pierce the King's skin at all, let alone decapitate him.

In merely a split second before the edge of the blade touched his neck, a layer of incredibly hard, dense rock had suddenly manifested, encasing King Pratesias's neck like armor, perfectly protecting him from the lethal slash.

The arrogant smile returned to King Pratesias's lips.

"Don't be in such a rush, Vedegra." he mocked, staring at Arvin's face from close range with a condescending glare.

Crack! Crash!

The smile on the King's face vanished without a trace.

The temperature at the point of contact between the sword and the stone plummeted beyond normal limits. In an instant, the rock froze extremely, then shattered into tiny shards of ice.

"Did you think I was willing to wait?" Arvin interrupted expressionlessly, his sword ready to swing for an unstoppable second attack. "My only goal here is to kill you all!"

Feeling that he was now truly in danger, King Pratesias's survival instincts took over. He quickly activated his large-scale earth magic.

Rumble...

Massive, sharp rocks suddenly burst out wildly from the left and right sides of the throne. They all moved as fast as lightning, aiming straight to impale and crush Arvin's body from point-blank range.

Zap!

Arvin teleported once again using blink magic, darting backward to the center of the room to avoid the rain of sharp rocks that had just destroyed the throne area.

However, this battle gave him no pause to breathe.

The moment Arvin's feet touched the ground in his current position, a sudden attack emerged from his blind spot behind him with incredible speed.

It was Wiltan.

The Second Prince, who had previously been floored, had now risen. Blood still stained the corner of his lips, but his eyes radiated overflowing frustration and fury.

He utilized his blink magic once again, teleporting relentlessly and launching a barrage of sword strikes at the Vedegra descendant from various directions.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

Strike after high-speed strike launched at him was always parried by Arvin with immense speed and terrifying precision.

He spun his body, deflecting every fatal slash without any meaningful difficulty.

This guy is persistent. Arvin remarked inwardly while continuously parrying the barrage of attacks with his sword. I never thought they could be defeated easily either.

Meanwhile, from the direction of the throne, King Pratesias did not stand idle seeing his brother relentlessly pressuring the Vedegra descendant. He intervened, launching an attack by mobilizing his earth element magic.

Whoosh...

A massive barrage of highly dense, sharp rocks hurtled rapidly like a meteor shower toward Arvin.

Aware of the new threat approaching while he was busy dealing with Wiltan's relentless blink attacks, Arvin's expression remained calm, entirely undisturbed.

He activated a magic from the darkness element.

A fairly large black hole manifested in mid-air, creating a gravitational anomaly within the room.

The void of darkness instantly sucked in all the incoming rock attacks without leaving a single trace. Its pull was so immensely powerful that not only were the sharp rocks launched by King Pratesias drawn in, but the previously frozen corpses of the soldiers and assassins were also forcefully dragged and swallowed entirely by the black hole.

The two brothers, Pratesias on the throne and Wiltan, who was still relentlessly attacking Arvin, were left stunned by the magic the last Vedegra descendant had just unleashed.

Neither of them ever expected that the blue-haired man could wield magic from four different elements.

"You damn monster!" hissed the Second Prince as he continued to attack Arvin from various directions.
