Inside the dining room, Oliver fell into a deep silence once again. Allen's previous words struck his logic incredibly hard, making him thoroughly consider the fatal warning he had just heard.
On one hand, as a son, his instincts rebelled. He was deeply worried about the safety of his father, who currently was completely unaware that there was a devil masquerading as a member of the royal family inside the palace. Yet, on the other hand, his common sense justified Allen and Davin's words. He did not want to act recklessly and ruin everything Arvin had meticulously planned.
Silence overtook the room for several dozen seconds. Everyone seemed to give the prince time to fight his own inner battle.
After weighing all the worst-case scenarios in his head, Oliver finally let out a long sigh. That exhalation seemed to cast far away the anxiety, ego, and worry that had been gnawing at his mind all this time.
"It seems I truly have no other choice right now." Oliver replied slowly, his tone of voice now sounding much calmer after making a final decision. He looked at Allen with a gaze full of conviction. "If Arvin has indeed thought of everything and has a mature plan regarding that devil, then I will follow what you say. I don't want my selfishness to destroy his plans."
Hearing the decision Oliver had just made, Allen smiled in relief. He then turned his head toward the black-haired youth sitting not far from him.
"Then, what about you, Dylan? Do you truly not remember anything at all about everything that happened in that era?"
Receiving that question, Dylan only shook his head. There was absolutely no memory of that era inside his mind.
"Is that so?" Allen said, nodding in understanding. "But you actually look very calm and completely unaffected, don't you?"
"Why should I worry about something that isn't in my memories?" Dylan replied in a very straightforward and relaxed tone. "Even if I did remember it, I don't care about that era. I'm only focused on my current life, which is to stand by my husband's side, serve him, and accompany him wholeheartedly forever!"
The sentence spoken with such conviction successfully made all the youths inside the dining room gasp for a moment. Dylan possessed a very pure and unconditional form of loyalty.
They all looked at him with impressed gazes, then simultaneously nodded in agreement with what he had said, including Arion.
The reddish-yellow-haired youth further steadied his heart and soul, dedicating them solely to loving, accompanying, supporting, and serving only one person forever into eternity. And that person was none other than Arvin Vedegra, the husband he loved so deeply.
On the other side of the dining room, Oliver cast his gaze around. He looked at the faces of the youths in the room one by one. There was an admiration that could not be hidden from his pair of light blue eyes. He looked at them with a gaze full of respect and pride.
I can't wait to immediately start a new life with them in this mansion! Oliver thought, his enthusiasm blooming once again to replace his fear. Arvin is truly an incredibly amazing man! He possesses an absurd charm and power, to the point of being able to make the strong people who were his enemies in that era submit and become such loyal spouses to him in this era.
However, amidst that surging enthusiasm, a realization suddenly jolted Oliver's mind. He remembered one important fact: he had not yet been fully accepted into this family by all the youths present in the room.
"Then... what about me?" Oliver asked suddenly, seeking confirmation about his status in their household.
That question spontaneously made everyone in the dining room turn to look at him.
"Am I truly allowed to live in this mansion together with all of you?"
"I allow it!" Alrain answered without the slightest hesitation, accepting Oliver into their household life. "But remember, once he returns from the Flamort Kingdom later, don't waste time. Confess your feelings to him honestly right away."
Hearing the answer coming from the green-haired youth's mouth, Oliver immediately smiled widely. His heart felt incredibly relieved because Alrain, the person who had been the ultimate decider all this time, had now officially accepted him into the Arvin Vedegra household.
"If Alrain has agreed, then the rest of us in this room have no reason to reject you either. We accept you!" Allen said, representing everyone's voice.
The words from their husband's first spouse were immediately met with nods of agreement from all the youths in the room, instantly multiplying the joy and relief Oliver felt.
"Thank you... thank you so much for allowing me to live here and become a part of you all!" Oliver said sincerely, unable to hide his happy expression.
"But, there's one absolute condition you must obey, Oliver." Alrain warned, his face turning serious again, not wanting even the slightest margin of error that could throw his husband's plans into disarray. "You must promise to keep everything you see, hear, and learn inside this mansion a secret from anyone out there! Including your own father!"
"Of course!" Oliver answered quickly, full of conviction and without the slightest doubt. He placed his right fist over his left chest. "I swear I will keep everything a secret from everyone, including my own father!"
Alrain nodded in satisfaction after hearing and seeing Oliver's sincerity. Then, he turned his face away from the prince, directing his gaze toward a completely empty corner of the room.
"Alvein, you and the two of them heard it yourselves just now, right?"
Oliver was confused by Alrain's behavior, suddenly talking to himself while staring at the empty air in one corner of the room.
Who is he talking to? Oliver wondered, his eyes also squinting toward the same corner.
"Yes, I heard it very clearly!"
Oliver was startled to hear a voice replying from the direction of the empty air Alrain was looking at.
However, the prince's astonishment turned into pure shock when he saw three handsome youths suddenly appear, revealing themselves from the thin air.
The first youth Oliver saw, who was standing in the middle of them, had silver hair and a pair of golden eyes. And he already knew who that youth was.
"I suppose I don't need to introduce myself to you because you already know me. But, for the sake of formality and politeness in welcoming a new member to our family, I'll still do so. My name is Alvein. I am his fourth spouse. It's a pleasure to meet you!"
The second youth Oliver saw had brown skin, gray hair, and a pair of light green eyes, standing right next to Alvein. He did not know him at all, and it was the first time he had seen someone with such brown skin.
"My name is Kaydan. I am his tenth spouse." the youth greeted, introduce himself straightforwardly.
And the third youth Oliver saw had indigo hair with a pair of emerald green eyes. He did not recognize him either.
"My name is Calverd. I am his twelfth spouse." the youth greeted with a flat facial expression.
