Chapter 252 - Vanished From the Coffin

Arvin, who was now alone in front of the Victoriaz academy dormitory, immediately walked away.

In a completely invisible form thanks to his invisible magic, he walked with calm, soundless steps.

His footsteps traced the academy hallways heading straight towards the tournament arena complex and continued towards the special participant waiting room.

Upon arriving there, the atmosphere in that place showed two medical personnel standing guard in front of the entrance leading to the room.

Arvin continued to walk casually in his invisible mode. His steps kept heading straight towards a medical room located in one corner of the room.

The further he walked, the further he moved away from the crowd inside the medical room.

As soon as he entered one of the rooms at the very end, the atmosphere instantly changed to being very quiet and silent. There was not a single person or medical staff guarding inside there at this moment.

The only object filling the room was just a coffin placed neatly on top of a long wooden table. Without the slightest hesitation, he walked approaching the object.

While standing next to the coffin, Arvin looked inside it.

There, lay stiffly the body of Orvion who was still wearing the Victoriaz academy uniform that was still dirty from the dust and dirt of the collapsed stands wall. His face was deathly pale, yet the lines of his cuteness were still clearly visible.

If I observe and look closely like this again, I must admit his facial contours are indeed very cute. praised Arvin in his heart, staring at the youth's face inside the coffin. But it is such a pity, why must you choose the path of foolishness to betray me in the future, Orvion?

Arvin let out a long sigh to cast away all those unanswered questions and hardened his resolve, then directed his right hand right above the corpse inside the coffin.

From his palm emerged a very dense ice mana fluctuation. Thin ice crystals began to creep and cover the entire surface of the brown-haired youth's body, freezing him perfectly down to the cellular level and internal organs to prevent the natural decomposition process from occurring.

Perhaps now you are indeed dead, Orvion. said Arvin in his heart full of ambition and absolute conviction. But one day, after I manage to find the way, I will definitely bring you back to life, making you my Morpher subordinate as well as my most obedient and loyal spouse! I will never let a strong person with a cute face like yours rot in vain in the ground.

Zip!

Orvion's frozen body was sucked in and disappeared from inside the coffin, safely relocating into his dimensional storage space. What remained on the wooden table now was only an empty coffin without a corpse inside.

Realizing that his business at the Victoriaz academy was finished, Arvin immediately turned his body around. With his body still in an invisible state, he walked leaving the medical room, stepped out of the academy area, and walked straight towards the shelter house.

....

A few moments later after Arvin's departure, a medical worker entered the room carrying a set of formal black clothes in his hands. The clothes were planned to be put on Orvion's body before his corpse was buried properly right after the tournament ended.

But, as the medical worker stepped closer to the table and looked inside the coffin, his eyes instantly widened until they almost popped out of their sockets. The formal clothes he was holding immediately fell from his hands.

The student's corpse that was supposed to be lying stiff inside the coffin was no longer there.

Feelings of shock, surprise, and confusion immediately mixed into one, making the medical worker's breath catch in his throat.

Without picking up the clothes that fell from his hands, he immediately ran out of the room in a panic. He approached his colleagues to report all the anomalies he had just seen.

Hearing the report, all his medical team colleagues hurriedly ran towards the room where the coffin was located.

Upon arriving there, they were all extremely shocked as well as horrified to see with their own eyes that the coffin was empty.

All of the medical personnel struck by irrational panic began to conclude tremblingly that the unfortunate tournament participant might have risen from the dead.

And then...

The news of the mysterious disappearance of a tournament participant's corpse from inside a coffin spread very quickly from the waiting room area, the academy area, to the arena.

Everyone in the arena without exception, was highly shocked hearing the terrifying news about the disappearance of Orvion's corpse from inside the coffin.

Even the four delegates from the Victoriaz academy who were still in the participant stands felt heavily shocked over the sudden disappearance of their teammate's corpse without a single eyewitness.

On the other side of the participant stands, Alrain who accidentally heard the commotion news could only freeze in silence.

My Love... thought the green-haired youth half in shock, his brain immediately connecting the dots of this puzzle. Is the commotion in the medical room over the theft of Orvion's body from coffin your doing? If that's indeed true... but for what purpose did you have to do such a thing?

Arvin's impulsive action of intentionally taking the corpse from inside the medical room was a huge success in causing an uproar throughout the Victoriaz academy area that day. Strange and wild rumors also began to spread uncontrollably among the people.

There was a group who strongly believed that the participant's corpse was intentionally stolen by a dark magic sorcerer to be used as experiment material. There was also a theory believing that the participant was actually not truly dead from the start. Even to the point where some believed that the participant had risen from the dead and then secretly left the academy.

Meanwhile, far from all the commotion and mass panic that was wreaking havoc on the committee's focus in the arena, the situation at the Astoria group's shelter house felt very peaceful.

Arvin, who had just arrived and had canceled his invisible magic in front of the entrance, walked with casual steps into the house. He was completely unaware of the large-scale uproar happening at the academy as a result of his actions.

The blue-haired youth immediately walked approaching his four spouses who were sitting on guard surrounding the bed where Allen was laid.

He looked briefly at his first spouse's body which was still dirty, full of arena dust and also dried blood stains around his forehead and his uniform.

"I will clean Allen's body which is full of blood and dust first." said Arvin with a very gentle tone while bending down, then lifting his first spouse's body bridal style carefully.

And then, he turned his head looking at the four cute youths standing around him with an affectionate gaze. "Do the four of you want to take a bath with me?"

Hearing the invitation spoken so casually, Alrian, Dylan, Davin, and Arion nodded in agreement simultaneously.

Walking together, the four of them trailed behind their husband heading to the bathroom.
