Chapter 291 - Chapter 292: Shameless Season 4

> [You have returned to the Shameless World.]

> [Notice 1: Due to the change in worlds, the contents of the loot boxes have changed. Also, because the Pirates of the Caribbean world is incompatible with the Shameless world, prizes you did not claim in the pirate world cannot be claimed here, and skills obtained there cannot be used here.]

> [Notice 2: All skills acquired by Bianca Greene and Carl Gallagher in the Pirates of the Caribbean world have been wiped. Their memories of that world will slowly fade, eventually leaving only a vague impression.]

> [Notice 3: To maintain plausibility, Bianca Greene and Carl Gallagher will not wake up immediately. They will wake up naturally at daybreak.]

> [Time in this world resumes now.]

2118 North Wallace Street.

On the living room sofa on the first floor, Dexter opened his eyes. He took in the familiar surroundings, then looked up towards the second floor, a grin spreading across his face. He was genuinely looking forward to Bianca's reaction when morning came.

Chuckling to himself for a moment, he patted Daijiu and Little Crow on the head with a smile, then headed upstairs, lay down gently on the bed, and went to sleep.

Before he knew it.

Dawn broke, painting the eastern sky white.

Morning had arrived.

Bzzzt~ Bzzzt~

The alarm went off, and the phone started vibrating.

The vibration lasted for a few seconds before suddenly, Bianca jolted awake. She sat bolt upright, instinctively staring wide-eyed straight ahead.

Familiar sights filled her vision. One second, two seconds, three seconds...

Only then did Bianca turn her neck to look around.

She was in her bedroom, alright.

But that dream was just way too real...

For a moment, Bianca genuinely couldn't distinguish between the dream and reality.

This state lasted for quite a while until Bianca finally rubbed her face, recovering slightly.

Then, after a brief hesitation, she reached out and nudged Dexter.

Dexter opened his eyes.

Seeing him awake, Bianca couldn't wait and blurted out, "Honey, I had this incredibly weird, super long dream where I was a pirate..."

Once the floodgates opened, there was no stopping her.

Bianca rambled on and on.

Dexter sat up, amused, smiling as he listened quietly.

"You were in the dream too! You were a huge pirate captain... Oh, wait!" As she spoke, Bianca's expression suddenly shifted, and she puffed out her cheeks angrily. "You bastard! In the dream, you slept with another woman! I'm so pissed!"

Haha.

"It was just a dream, why get mad about it?" Dexter felt he should probably say something, laughing.

"I'm just mad!" Bianca huffed.

"Haha, alright, don't be mad. Dreams are fake... By the way, who did I sleep with? Was she pretty?" Dexter asked playfully.

"????" Bianca raised an eyebrow. "Do you have a death wish?"

"Haha, nope," Dexter quickly shook his head, changing the subject. "Alright, tell me more about your dream."

Bianca glared at him, hesitated, then decided not to dwell on his dream infidelity and continued recounting the events of her dream.

She talked for a long time.

Meanwhile.

2114 North Wallace Street.

Carl woke up and found himself not on a pirate ship, but in his bedroom. He was instantly crushed with disappointment.

"Why did it have to end? I wasn't done playing yet..."

Carl said with immense disappointment. He squeezed his eyes shut, trying to fall back asleep so he could return to the dream.

"Let me go back!"

"I have to go back!"

---

2118 North Wallace Street.

Dexter and Bianca had a morning quickie, washed up, and went downstairs together.

Understandably, the impact of that dream was huge. Bianca hadn't fully snapped out of it yet and seemed a bit out of it.

"Look at you. One dream has you completely frazzled. Sit down, I'll make breakfast," Dexter teased, finding it hilarious.

Hearing this, Bianca shook her head instinctively. "I'll do it. I can handle it."

"No, you can't. Why don't you take Daijiu for a walk? Get some fresh morning air," Dexter suggested.

Bianca thought about it and nodded. "Okay... that dream was just so real. It's so weird."

Muttering to herself, Bianca got up, found the leash, leashed Daijiu, and walked outside.

She had only taken a couple of steps out the door.

Karen drove up to the Gallagher house. Spotting Bianca, her expression shifted, a fleeting look of gloom passing through her eyes.

She would be legal next summer.

Karen wanted Dexter because getting Dexter meant getting loads of cash.

That made Bianca an obstacle that needed removing.

Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.

Karen hopped out of the car, flashed a sweet smile, and greeted her. "Good morning, Bianca."

Bianca didn't know Karen well, but recognized her. She smiled and nodded. "Good morning, Karen."

"You guys are up early. Why not sleep in a bit?" Karen asked warmly.

Bianca had a good temper and a kind nature. She didn't think anything of it and replied politely.

They chatted for a bit.

"See you later," Karen realized how naive Bianca was and felt a surge of glee. She was confident that getting rid of Bianca next year would be a walk in the park.

"Okay, see you," Bianca responded, continuing her walk with Daijiu.

Daijiu shot Karen a side-eye full of disgust.

Karen didn't notice. In a great mood, she skipped up to the Gallagher front door. Habitually, she tried to push it open, found it locked, then took out her key and let herself in.

Fiona and Lip were eating breakfast in the dining room.

Seeing Karen just walk in like that, Fiona immediately frowned slightly and asked Lip, "You gave her a key to our house?"

Lip knew Fiona didn't like Karen, but he didn't care. He nodded curtly and gave a casual, "Yeah."

Fiona hated Lip's attitude. She wanted to say more, but with Karen standing right there, it was awkward to make a scene. She swallowed her annoyance and ate her breakfast in silence.

Watching Fiona's reaction—clearly hating her guts but unable to do anything about it—Karen was delighted. Her smile widened, and she decisively kissed Lip on the cheek, provoking Fiona.

Woman to woman, Fiona obviously picked up on the provocation in Karen's behavior. And she was provoked. A look of clear disgust appeared on her face.

Fiona looked down on Karen from the bottom of her heart, thinking she was a slut.

Conversely, the feeling was mutual.

Karen looked down on Fiona too, thinking Fiona wasn't just a slut, but a dumbass as well.

Lip was smart. He glanced at Fiona, then spoke to Karen, trying to defuse the tension between the two women. "Karen, have you had breakfast?"

Karen had eaten, and quite a lot at that, but she shook her head immediately. "Not yet."

"Have some then. Help yourself, I can't really move around easily," Lip said.

"Okay," Karen agreed sweetly, getting up to serve herself.

A moment later.

Once Fiona and Lip finished eating, Karen didn't hesitate to dump her barely-touched breakfast into the trash.

Watching this happen right in front of her.

Fiona was fuming. She couldn't hold back and snapped, "We worked hard to buy that food. Wasting it like that is too much. Just because it's not your money doesn't mean you shouldn't care."

Karen smiled radiantly, deliberately keeping her tone sweet. "I'm driving you to juvie later. That costs gas money too."

"Do you want me to pay you back for the breakfast?"

"..." Fiona hadn't considered the gas money or Karen's time. She was stumped, unable to retort.

Selfish people generally only see themselves.

"Alright, you two. Knock it off," Lip had a headache and quickly intervened. "Fiona, grab Liam. Let's go. We don't want to be late."

Hearing this, Fiona glared at Karen, stormed off angrily, and picked up Liam.

Soon.

The four of them walked out of the Gallagher house.

Just then, Bianca walked back with Daijiu on the leash.

Seeing Fiona and the others, Bianca smiled and greeted them kindly. "Good morning."

Hearing this.

Fiona and Lip, displaying incredible sibling telepathy, simultaneously shot Bianca looks of disgust. Without a word, they walked straight toward Karen's car.

Karen responded with a smile. "Good morning."

After responding, Karen looked at Fiona and Lip and wanted to laugh.

The Gallaghers... living like trash but looking down on everyone else all day long. It was laughable.

Bianca was just nice, not stupid. She obviously noticed Fiona and Lip's attitude immediately. She felt puzzled and confused.

She hadn't done anything to offend them...

Why were they acting like that?

Bianca was baffled and walked home harboring doubts.

Luckily, Bianca wasn't like Dexter.

If it were Dexter, or someone like him...

Heh.

Fiona and Lip would have just made another enemy.

At the Gallagher curb.

The four got into the car. Karen started the engine and drove toward the Juvenile Detention Center.

...

Bianca returned just in time.

Dexter had just finished making breakfast. Seeing Bianca back, he couldn't help teasing, "Did you time that perfectly, knowing I just finished cooking?"

Hearing this, Bianca tossed her confusion aside and smiled back. "Hehe, yep. Look how smart I am."

"Seems the ancients were right. Big boobs, no brain. The smart ones are usually small..." Dexter courted death with his comment.

Bianca instinctively looked down at herself. "!!! Dexter, I'm gonna beat you up!!"

"Haha, come eat breakfast. Beat me up after," Dexter laughed.

"Hmph," Bianca huffed, washed her hands, and sat at the table.

The two ate breakfast, chatting and laughing.

Bianca didn't mention a word about Fiona and Lip's behavior earlier.

In fact, enjoying the delicious breakfast, Bianca had already forgotten that trivial little incident.

---

Juvenile Detention Center.

Although she hadn't been beaten for a while, the bruises on her face hadn't faded yet. Debbie, led by a guard, sat down across from Fiona, Lip, and the others.

Seeing Debbie after all these days, especially seeing her looking like this...

Instantly.

Fiona's eyes turned red, tears welling up.

Lip clenched his fists in anger, his face full of hatred. He wanted to storm in there and beat the crap out of every bastard who bullied Debbie.

Karen smiled secretly, thinking these Gallaghers deserved exactly this kind of misery.

Liam didn't understand anything, just babbling at Debbie.

"Debbie, look at you..." Fiona was heartbroken, her voice trembling with tears.

Behind the thick glass, Debbie was very calm, staring at the four of them with a complex expression.

At the same time, the words of the therapist echoed uncontrollably in Debbie's mind.

After two seconds of silence.

Debbie spoke, her tone equally calm. "I'm fine. These are old injuries. No one dares to bully me now."

Debbie emphasized the word "dares."

Hearing this and understanding the implication, Lip got excited immediately. "Good job, Debbie! You gotta show those bitches what a Gallagher is made of!"

Click.

As those words entered her ears, they instantly fused with what the therapist had said...

Debbie didn't understand how to bridge theory with reality. If she did, she would realize just how much influence that therapist had on her.

Debbie's brows twitched slightly. She stayed silent for a moment, ignoring Lip's comment, and instead asked, "What happened to your mouth and your leg?"

Fiona and the others hadn't visited for a while, so Debbie didn't know what had happened to Lip.

Hearing this, Lip's anger flared up. He gritted his teeth as he answered, "That bastard Steve did it..."

Lip explained the situation in one breath.

When he finished.

Lip added with absolute conviction, "Once I heal up, I'm definitely making that bastard Steve pay!"

Hearing this, Debbie couldn't help but smile. "Why did Steve do that to you? Did you do something to him?"

Hearing this, Lip frowned.

From the moment he saw Debbie, Lip noticed something was off about her. She was different from before.

Now, Lip was absolutely certain.

So.

Lip stayed silent, his mind racing.

Lip really was smart. In the blink of an eye, he guessed a possibility.

The next second, Lip got anxious. "Debbie, what did that shrink tell you? Don't listen to a word that bullshit doctor says!"

"Shrinks are idiots! Only morons become psychologists!"

"We Gallaghers don't need therapy!"

Lip spoke with absolute certainty, as if stating a universal truth.

The smile on Debbie's face suddenly deepened. She found this amusing and spoke up. "Lip, you didn't answer my question."

At this point, even Fiona—who honestly wasn't that sharp—finally caught on, realizing Debbie's strangeness a beat too late.

"Debbie, what is wrong with you?" Fiona asked anxiously.

Debbie looked at Fiona, smiling and shaking her head. "I think I'm fine. Oh wait, actually, I'm fantastic."

Saying that, Debbie looked around the room. "I should have come here sooner. I should have seen a therapist sooner."

Boom!

The words hit like a bomb.

Fiona and Lip's minds exploded simultaneously.

Finally.

Fiona and Lip truly realized just how serious Debbie's situation was!
