Merrygold:「Hello, Nino you there? You've had that strange look on your face for a few minutes now and have been silent.」
Nino suddenly freezes up and her face returns to normal.
Nino:「Sorry about that Merrygold, my status window just shocked me.」
Merrygold gives a sigh of relief and her face turns from a face of worry to relief.
Merrygold:「Alright I thought it was worse but what would be so shocking about your status anyway」
Nino shows Merrygold and she gets a face of shock and surprise because how much of it is just question marks.
Merrygold:「What the hell is up with all those question marks? Mine didn't even have question marks.」
Nino:「It's probably censored information for me, but anyways we should probably start to figure out who the murders are or else it's going to get bad.」
Merrygold:「Agreed! Now let's look around and figure out who the murders are. But still it's weird that it would be censored with question marks?」
They get up and start to explore and they look at the map and figure they should head for the first floor east entrance the closest to them to see if the doors are locked.
They start to head to the first floor east entrance and it takes them five minutes to get there. Once they arrive they try to open up the doors but like they presumed the doors are locked leaving no escape.
Merrygold:「Welp looks like they're locked. So what should be our next move Nino?」
Merrygold says with her eyes gleaming knowing Nino would know where to go next.
Nino:「I-I think we should head to t-the occult c-club room…」
Merrygold:「Why the occult club?」
Nino:「B-Because I n-need to check something…」
Merrygold:「Alright if you say so, to the occult club!」
They start walking to the east wing second floor stair because the Occult Club is on the second floor east wing but luckily they're in the east wing of the school. While they are walking following the map Nino suddenly gets a call.
Bzzt… Bzzt… Bzzt…
Nino:「W-What the?」
Nino is startled juggling her phone in her hands being clumsy and Merrygold surprised a bit. Nino finally manages to hold the phone and see who's calling and it's an unknown number.
Merrygold:「Nino answer it, lets see who it is, who would have the nerve to try to scam during this right so it shouldn't be a scam or a spam call.」
Nino answers and holds it up to her ear.
Nino:「H-Hello, w-who is this?」
A female voice comes through the phone into Nino's ear.
???:「Hello are you the detective?」
Nino in a shy flustered panic says.
Nino:「H-How d-did you know?」
???:「Oh my one shy detective we have, but I'm the Police captain and remember from the explanation of the roles the Detective can call the Police Captain and Vice Versa.」
Nino's face suddenly goes red and Merrygold chuckles at her getting flustered but she doesn't know why but just finds it cute.
Nino:「o-oh…」
The female voice from the other side chuckles and then says…
???:「I should introduce myself now shouldn't I, I'm Victoria Roseanthal the Student Council President.」
Nino's face suddenly becomes shocked.
Nino:「T-The S-Student C-Council P-President!」
Merrygold also gets a shocked face after Nino says that.
Merrygold:「What the Student Council President!」
Victoria Roseanthal:「Oh looks like you're with Merrygold, put me on speaker.」
Nino puts Victoria Rose on speaker.
Victoria Roseanthal:「Hey Merrygold!」
Victoria Roseanthal says excitedly.
Merrygold:「Hey Rose!」
Merrygold says excitedly.
Nino's not shocked they know each other because Merrygold is the Student Council Vice-President.
Victoria Roseanthal:「So that means the Detective is Nino, your most precious friend who you love to talk about all the time and stick around with lots.」
Rose says teasingly to Merrygold through the phone and Merrygold gets flustered and her face goes red, same with Nino.
Nino:「Y-You talk a-about me with t-the S-Student C-Council P-President about m-me Merrygold.」
Victoria Roseanthal:「Oh yes she does and call me Rose sweetie.」
Merrygold:「R-ROSEEEEE!」
Rose chuckles at Merrygold being really flustered but Nino feels honored.
Nino:「W-Well anyway R-R-Rose since your t-the P-Police Captain d-do you mind meeting us i-in the occult club room?」
Victoria Roseanthal:「Sure thats fine then I will meet you there so I be going now bye.」
Nino and Merrygold say bye and Rose hangs up the phone, then Nino and Merrygold continue on their way to the Occult Club Room.
After 8 minutes they arrive at the stairs then head up and it takes them 9 minutes to get to the Occult Club Room and they arrive.
