"I never imagined that all that I was dreaming before would come to be," he sighs, looking at the moon as they walk slowly, hand in hand. "Never thought I would ever get the chance to live this way."
Travis pulls him over to a bench and holds him close to his side. Day lays his head on his shoulder, arms linked and warm.
"My parents have always been smothering, always in my place, and wanting to know every little thing fleeting through my mind. It can get exhausting," he says, "but they are just overprotective. But to know and to deal with it is a different thing."
"It is," Travis agrees.
"They are away right now. cruising on their new boat, drinking wine, and having the best time of their life.
"They have always been stuck in their fairytale, and I have always envied that," he admits. "I have always felt left out, even when they don't mean to. Its juts hard to get them out of their bubble."
"Did they start travelling since you moved out?"
