"Lord Robert indeed has a thick air of mystery around him."
"He looks cold yet elegant, as expected of a Supernova and a family head of one of the thirty royal families."
"He has been a talent since he was young. How can you belittle him as such?"
The guests in the hall, who had been silent and frozen in place while staring at the Supernovas, started to chatter even faster after Robert entered his own room. The consuls of the Karma family and the family members here felt a deep sense of pride and happiness.
Sasaki was side-eyeing Robert the entire time. Before Robert entered his room, he also shot a sharp gaze at Sasaki.
Sasaki took a deep sigh. Even though he did not need to breathe in his living corpse form, he had made it a habit now to adapt more as a human.
He turned his gaze back out to the garden again.
Soon, winds started to form in a vortex as a strong force rose, making the beautiful flowers in the garden wither away or tilt to an exaggerated degree.
Meditation aura filled with red, purple, and gold particles flooded in as three Supernovas appeared.
All three of these people were old and important.
The one in the front and in the middle of the three was a tall and slightly muscular man.
He had a long beard that reached his chest. His red eyes shone with dominance and put an insurmountable pressure on anyone who was under his gaze.
His hair and beard had turned white, and his face was filled with wrinkles around the cheeks and forehead, but he was standing straight like a spear.
He was Albert Blackbell, the master of Sasaki, who had taught him all he knew about the sword ever since he was a kid.
He was also the adoptive father of Sasaki.
The one on his left was an old woman with long white hair and wrinkles around her lips.
Her purple eyes gleamed with possibilities and reflective thoughts. She had an amicable air around her.
She looked like any normal old lady, but she was far from it.
She was Alberta Blackbell, the younger sister of Albert Blackbell and the adoptive mother of Sasaki.
Seeing Sasaki, she had a small smile on her face that contained deep meaning.
However, most of the guests' attention was not on these two but on the eldest man on Albert's right side.
This old man had white hair and sharp, golden eyes that reflected the vicissitudes of life he had gone through.
He had a hunched back and barely supported himself with a cane in his right hand and his left hand on his back.
His body was filled with wrinkles, and his body shivered at times.
He was Christopher Blackbell.
Even though he seemed like a fragile old man who could be seen regularly on the streets and in hospitals, no one dared to look down on him.
There were two reasons for it:
First, he was the head of the Blackbell family.
Second, he was the previous Meditation Master, the 106th to be exact!
He had been a genuine True Supernova in his prime and was very bold. He had suffered silently in his youth from his many competitors, many of whom were his brothers and sisters.
He stayed alone and never married. He worked hard silently for years until he finally came out and revealed himself to be a True Supernova and became the 106th Meditation Master of Lumenia and the head of the Blackbell family.
Due to his lifespan almost running out, he had used a special technique that increased his lifespan but made his rank fall back to Supernova.
In his youth, after many years of becoming the Meditation Master, he had found triplets abandoned by a family who belonged to one of the branch families of the Blackbell family and decided to adopt them.
He treated, taught, loved, and guided these triplets as his own children.
These three were very talented and never disappointed him once. They became the pride and joy of the Blackbell family in the previous generation.
Albert Blackbell, Alexander Blackbell, and Alberta Blackbell.
These were the names of the three triplets. Out of these three, the oldest and the youngest became Supernovas and had defeated many of their opponents. They had even found, adopted, and trained Sasaki Blackbell Alberich.
While the younger brother, Alexander Blackbell, had become a True Supernova!
Inheriting the legacy of Christopher Blackbell and becoming the 107th Meditation Master!
However, he had not entered Lumenia for more than a century now. Where was he now?
No one knew.
Even Sasaki back then had to spend a lot of effort and go through many coincidences to find him.
Since he was not here, the matters in the Blackbell family and most in Lumenia were managed by these three.
They had been the legends of the previous generation, but now they had already become old waves.
Soon to be replaced by the new waves, and they had already decided to leave everything they had to Sasaki.
Seeing Sasaki, their expressionless faces soon lit up, their eyes flashing with joy.
They slowly started to walk up the stairs and walked toward Sasaki.
Seeing them walking toward him, a small smile formed on Sasaki's face as he looked down. He slowly switched to his human form as his black eyes turned back to Egyptian blue.
He suddenly felt the gazes of countless people on his back as he stopped his body from budging at all.
His heart raced faster. He was scared and worried.
The crowd was about to notice Sasaki's unusualness and was even more shocked by Sasaki's smile.
This was their first time seeing him smile!
Just then, Albert started to pat his head and said warmly, "Congratulations on your wedding. You have grown so much from that little, stubborn kid who tried to kill himself thousands of times every single day."
Sasaki stayed quiet, only muttering, "Thank you, Grandpa," as Albert walked past him.
Even though the brother and sister were his adopted father and mother, he had always called them Grandpa and Grandma due to their appearance and age.
Alberta stood in front of him as she handed him a blue flower and said lightly with a slight smile on her face,
"Make sure to give this relic to your wife, Mona. This is a protection charm and can act as a hairpin."
Sasaki nodded as Alberta also walked past him to the room that had been assigned for them. No escorts came to take them.
Christopher was the last to stand in front of Sasaki.
"Here is your wedding gift."
Christopher said as he gave Sasaki... a paper airplane?
"What? An airplane?"
"The fuck?"
Witnessing this, many guests were shocked.
If they had not witnessed this themselves, they would have never believed this scene.
But to their surprise, Sasaki let out a pleased chuckle as he happily took the paper airplane and lightly threw it. It flew for a few seconds before falling in the center of one of the flowers.
"You hit it. You have perfected 'Cut' to its maximum, I see."
Christopher said bluntly.
Saying this, he walked past him and entered the room where Albert and Alberta were waiting for him.
Everyone left a way for him, and nobody dared to come talk to him.
...
In his room, filled with equipment for all sorts of divinations, brown crystals, and decorations of white, brown, and black colors.
He had been witnessing the scene outside all this time. Others may not understand the significance behind the action of Christopher giving Sasaki a paper airplane, but he did so clearly.
"This is not a move made by Christopher casually. This is directed to me because if it weren't, then he would have done this when all the family heads were here."
"In the past, Sasaki had been rigorously trained by Christopher to catch paper airplanes and throw them perfectly so that he could find and hit all the hidden orbs that he had placed around their estate's gardens. This had increased Sasaki's accuracy, perception, and pattern recognition ability. This had also given him the crucial inspiration to create his signature technique — Cut — that had terrified Lumenia for years now."
Remembering the scene of Sasaki using that technique on him, Robert's heart chilled.
He half-closed his eyes and started to quickly move his fingers as brown light shone in his eyes. The more his eyes shone, the calmer he became.
After calming down, he did some small and quick divinations. They were just small, but if a lower-ranked Overseeing Pathway aura user saw his techniques, he would be standing frozen with his mouth open, unable to understand the profundity behind the methods that he used.
He frowned after getting the results.
"This move was made by Christopher for me indeed. By making that move, he showed me that Sasaki had perfected 'Cut' to his maximum limit and used the hitting of the paper airplanes on the hidden orbs as Sasaki understood my intentions. The falling of the plane in the middle of one of the flowers was the rejection of cooperation."
He heaved a sigh of pity. Sweat formed on his forehead the more he thought.
"It seems that I have no other choice than to rely on 'Him'."
...
As the three Supernovas of the Blackbell family entered their room,
Sasaki turned his head back as Meditation aura with pink particles soon formed and condensed into a black hole that sparkled with white lightning as a figure walked out.
This figure had short pink hair and light purple eyes that darkened at times.
Purple sparks crackled all around his body randomly at all times.
His brows were furrowed as he looked at Sasaki with no fear.
He wore a pink bodysuit and had a lean but strong physique.
"To think that he is the next one to come." Sasaki thought as he stared back with an expressionless face.
