The scene in the grand hall had frozen for a long time before people finally regained consciousness and began to converse again.
Though now, they were talking much more softly while occasionally glancing at Sasaki's back.
Alia heaved a deep sigh; a light of sadness flashed in her eyes as they flickered.
"He indeed chose to still rely on his 'Living Corpse' form. He won't be able to manage his emotions naturally with this."
Chief, who was beside her, had an understanding gaze as he took Sasaki's side.
"With all due respect, Miss Alia, you are one hundred and one years old. While Sasaki is just seventeen years old. He had lived his whole life as an unfeeling person. It is not too easy to handle his emotions. Today is a very grand and important occasion for him. It will take time, but he will learn."
"Are you calling me old?" Alia snickered at Cief.
Cief's heart started beating faster as sweat formed on his forehead. He shook his head and walked away, leaving Alia alone.
Alia heaved another sigh as her expression became warmer. She understands Sasaki the most among everyone he knows. She could understand his struggles and how hard it is for him, but she can't stop her fiery temper and screams at Sasaki often to get over it.
It is never as easy as it sounds, and she understands it too, so she reamins patience.
All the other guests except the family heads have arrived. Why was it that the higher ranks came in last?
According to Lumenia's historical customs, in every grand occasion, the lower ranks are the first to arrive, while the higher ranks are the last to arrive to show equality to these people despite the difference in strength.
Any family head can arrive whenever he wants to before the wedding; there was no pattern or hierarchy for it. Still, arriving earlier was seen as a form of respect.
Then why were Alia and Cief, despite being Supernovas here?
Alia and Cief had special statuses; they had also not made any grand scene on their arrival.
Alia had never liked showing grandness and liked to do things simply, while Cief didn't dare to get close to others here due to his identity. His suit, which was a rank 0 relic maybe strong, but he had no interest in taking a risk here.
Thinking of this, there was another interesting thing to notice, which was the ability of these lower ranks to see a higher rank.
Normally, the higher the rank of a person, the higher-dimensional beings they become.
Why is it that a lower-ranked person loses control when they see a higher-ranked being?
There has always been a universal, simple answer: Their world of consciousness and subconsciousness is unable to comprehend their existence, and either explodes or weakens according to the difference in rank, giving the subconsciousness of the aura to take this chance to take over, turning them into a monster.
Why was it that the hypernovaes never made any direct appearances in Lumenia to give orders?
This was one of the reasons they talked to the Lysi Novas through meditation aura, and even that was very hard.
Only Aura users of the dimension pathway who have the uniquenesses of the Dimension Pathway can control their dimensionality and make lower ranks able to see them.
This was also why Edward was able to let Eric and Max see him and even converse with each other.
When a person reaches Supernova rank, to avoid the lower ranks losing control, they usually learn a technique called 'Veiling'.
This is a technique that requires deliberate control and constant control.
Through this technique, a thin, invisible layer of meditation aura forms on the body of the user and separates their Dimensionality from the lower ranks' comprehension.
Hypernova ranks can't learn or use this technique, so they have to use other specialized methods to separate or suppress their dimensionality.
The reason no Hypernova has to use any methods here is because of the white veil on top of the entire Lumenia.
It was not just a decoration but a super aura formation; it was only second to the colossal walls, and was designed by Excalibur Blackknight, the family head of the Blackknight family, which presides over the Dimension Pathway.
Edward Blackknight is the son of Excalibur Blackknight.
This veil's entire function is to suppress the dimensionality of all the auras users here so that they can interact without fear of losing control from just looking at each other.
This function had shocked all the guests when they first learned about this. This was also another way for Sasaki to show his emphasis on letting these people build relationships.
"He is quite the handsome man. Just this makes me envious. Miss Mona is really lucky to marry him despite having no background." Salvia's bubbly friend whispered to Salvia.
Salvia stayed silent and kept staring at Sasaki. This was her first time seeing a supernova. She was naturally curious.
She was a Hypernova of the Mind Pathway. She noticed much more than Aura users of the other pathways.
Malefic, who was in another part of the hall, had an admiring gaze as he glanced at Sasaki.
Ever since he was a kid, he had always wanted to be a high and mighty person whom no one could trifle with, but reality was cruel and sad.
He indeed had high talent and aptitude, but his family had too few resources, which was barely enough for his family members, and he had to fight for every single piece of resources but even after this, he was still stuck at the Lysi Nova rank.
...
Sasaki had only been standing for a few minutes before the air outside the mansion shifted and started to feel heavy.
Golden-brown meditation Aura with yellow and chestnut particles started to appear and from a vortex, causing the surroundings to shake, and once again attracted the attention of all the guests as a middle-aged man with a brown beard appeared out of nowhere.
This person had chestnut hair and dark brown eyes that seemed to see things that others could not. He was completely alone and silent.
He had a brown opaque veil that flowed down from his head to the ground, a brown suit was worn on by him underneath, which was a dark brown bodysuit.
This was Robert Karma, the head of the Karma family, which presides over the Overseeing family.
"To think that he is the first one to arrive." Sasaki had expected his grandfather or his adopted family to come first, but it seems that Robert was the first one to arrive.
He found it weird at first, but after thinking about it for a while, he understood the reason.
"The Karma family is currently in huge internal and external turmoil. Circitia had been having revolutions daily, and some huge revolutions were already planned and ready to set in motion. The pressure is too huge, making the Karma family difficult to cope with. By arriving the earliest, he is showing a huge amount of respect, so that I have a good impression of him, and it helps him resolve this matter."
"If he can build a good relationship with me, then he will also have a lot of strength when I advance to True Supernova, too sad that I do not plan to advance any further."
"Obviously, the other family heads are not just in their homes getting ready; they are all ready to come whenever, but are dragging it on purpose. It seems that Robert gave quite a sum to them to be able to be the first one to arrive."
Seeing Robert, Sasaki's mind churned rapidly as he understood many underlying meanings in his arrival.
Robert slowly walked to Sasaki as they both looked at each other with expressionless faces.
Sasaki was a little shorter than Robert, so he had to look up at him, but it didn't stop every guest inside the hall from breathing from the heavy atmosphere that had formed after Robert's arrival.
Sasaki moved first and put his right in front of his chest and formed his hand into a fist as he bowed a little.
Every planet had its own way of showing respect and bowing.
While all this was going on, he had a small smile on his face, which looked very terrifying.
Robert also moved and put his left hand flat on his right chest and bowed a little. This was the way Lumenians show respect.
"Thank you for blessing my humble wedding with your grand presence, Lord Robert Karma," Sasaki said with an enthusiastic tone that was filled with coldness.
"It is no worries, Lord Sasaki. It is my honour to actually reach here the earliest; the others haven't shown up, yet I see." Robert said with deep meaning.
Sasaki then stepped aside and gave way for Robert to enter, as he said, "Please feel free to look around and choose the room you would like."
Robert's eyes gleamed with a light of disappointment as his smile twitched a little, but he kept quiet and entered.
Immediately, three hypernovas ran out of the crowd and welcomed Robert inside as they started to show him the hall. Everywhere Robert went, people gave way.
They didn't even think of approaching him. Only a Supernova should discuss with a Supernova; these tiny existences can only dream of talking to these mighty existences.
Seeing Robert disappear in the crowd, Sasaki nodded coldly to himself and turned to look outside the hall again, continuing to wait for the other family heads.
