Emerging from the Resource Repository, the Lord of the Mist sensed Feng Qi's condition as he lay on his back.

Confirming that Feng Qi was unharmed, he turned to look behind the waterfall.

A path led toward the center of the Heijue Domain Field.

The space crystal of the Heijue Domain Field was likely located there.

However, he had no intention of completely destroying the Heijue Domain Field at this time. The primary objective of this battle was to seize the miracle artifact.

Now that the artifact was in hand, venturing deeper into the Heijue Domain Field's central region might lead to encounters with other Intelligent Races within the domain.

After all, their exploration of the Heijue Domain Field remained limited.

There was no guarantee that the humanoid race was the only intelligent domain race within the Heijue Domain Field.

He pulled out his communicator and began urging the transportation and inventory of resources.

Several hours later, under the hazy night sky, campfires flickered across the humanoid camp.

Exhausted warriors were still tallying their spoils of war, while others prepared the evening meal.

After hours of labor, the Resource Repository was finally emptied of its spiritual resources.

Surveying the spiritual resources piled in the central clearing of the Humanoid Territory, the Lord of the Mist issued the order to begin the feast.

The famished warriors immediately began to devour the food.

After finishing their meal, the warriors used vines from the rainforest to bundle the various spiritual resources, then hoisted them onto their backs.

Many warriors carried spiritual resources weighing several times their own body weight.

Led by the Lord of the Mist, they began retracing their steps along the path they had taken.

After a half-day's arduous trek, they finally emerged from the dense rainforest.

Though inwardly impatient with the warriors' slow pace, the Lord of the Mist kept these thoughts to himself, even going so far as to help them carry some of their burdens.

By the time they reached the beach, it was already two in the afternoon.

Feng Qi remained unconscious even after the warriors had transferred all the spiritual resources onto the warships and war vessels.

Before nightfall, the fleet set sail.

Several hours later, they breached the barrier of the Heijue Domain Field.

It was now night, and the outside world was pitch-black.

The utterly exhausted warriors finally succumbed to fatigue, collapsing haphazardly on the decks of the warships and war vessels, falling into deep slumber.

Soon, a chorus of snores filled the air.

The fleet's navigation was entrusted to the crew members who had remained behind during the operation.

The warship sliced through the waves, returning to War Dock by the following morning.

By then, the Lord of the Mist had already contacted the battle group headquarters staff to brief them on the mission's outcome.

As the fleet entered the harbor, a cacophony of horns erupted.

Warships and warships docked along the pier saluted their triumphant return with resounding blasts.

The continuous horn blasts jolted the still-slumbering warriors awake, who realized they had finally arrived home.

At Pier 1, staff from the battle group headquarters were already waiting.

As the Lord of the Mist descended the gangway, a staff member immediately approached him:

"Commander Wang Yi, congratulations on your triumphant return..."

Hearing the staff member's words of congratulations, the Lord of the Mist couldn't help but frown.

"Speak to my assistant about any matters. I have urgent business to attend to."

The staff member's face flushed with embarrassment, and they tactfully retreated to the side.

The Lord of the Mist turned to survey the now-docked fleet.

Pulling out his communicator, he began directing the unloading operations.

As the massive quantities of spiritual resources were unloaded, the staff member opened his mouth but didn't approach further.

Under normal circumstances, when domain combat teams returned with their harvest, the resources would be processed at the docks.

It was similar to how seafood merchants would arrive early to negotiate purchase prices when fishing boats returned to port.

The seafood merchants' role was now filled by resource managers from various cities.

The specific terms of negotiation were determined by all three parties.

The returning domain combat teams would retain a portion of the resources and sell the majority.

After all, money was the universal currency.

Any desired resources could later be purchased with money.

The front lines were not isolated barter economies.

Professional staff from the battle group headquarters assisted domain combat teams in connecting with city resource managers for sales, without charging any fees.

The city resource managers were responsible for receiving the goods, negotiating prices, and determining corresponding benefits.

If both parties agreed on the price, the resources acquired by the cities would be allocated to their respective research institutes, academies, garrisons, and other organizations, depending on their needs.

This time, however, the Lord of the Mist had no intention of selling the resources.

While the money earned from selling them could be used to purchase supplies, even the institute's cutting-edge weapons and equipment, he valued spiritual resources far more.

After all the spiritual resources had been unloaded, the staff approached again.

Faced with their cautious inquiries, the Lord of the Mist firmly refused.

He allocated each battle group's share of the resources and instructed the warriors of the Death Star Third Battle Group to take their portion of the spiritual resources.

As for whether the other battle groups would sell or keep their shares, he couldn't care less.

After a long journey, they returned to the Death Star Third Battle Group's manor.

After ordering the spiritual resources to be stored in the manor's Resource Repository, the Lord of the Mist carried Feng Qi back to his residence.

Placing Feng Qi on the sofa, he pressed his hand against Feng Qi's forehead.

Crimson energy flowed from his palm into Feng Qi's body, scanning his physical condition.

After a moment, the Lord of the Mist withdrew his hand.

Feng Qi's body had now largely recovered and was no longer in any serious danger.

Relieved of his worries, he turned and left Feng Qi's residence.

Two days later, Feng Qi slowly opened his eyes from his coma.

The familiar ceiling came into view.

After a brief moment of disorientation, he sat up and immediately noticed the Lord of the Mist sitting nearby, legs crossed, watching him.

His gaze shifted to the green bracelet on the Lord of the Mist's right wrist.

He realized the mission had clearly been a complete success.

Now he was intensely curious about the true function of this miracle item.

"Awake?" the Lord of the Mist asked with a smile.

"Yeah. How long was I out?"

"Three and a half days."

Feng Qi nodded, about to reply, when he suddenly raised his left arm.

Seeing the entirely blood-red limb, his mind short-circuited:

"Where's my left hand?"

"It was severed. I sculpted you a new one. How does it feel?" the Lord of the Mist grinned.

Feng Qi's expression turned to stunned disbelief.

He suddenly remembered the brutal battle on the beach, where his left arm had been completely shattered.

Waving his brand-new arm, he couldn't help but glance at the Lord of the Mist:

"This is way too ugly. Can you sculpt me another one?"

The Lord of the Mist: ...
