"What?!" Yzak exclaimed in shock.
In the next moment, the Forbidden Gundam opened fire on him. Watching the screen, Yzak quickly manipulated the controls, moving the Duel Gundam to evade the Forbidden Gundam's attacks. Meanwhile, the Raider Gundam sped toward him in Mobile Armor mode, its mechanical claw glowing as a beam saber emerged from it.
Seeing the approaching claw, the Duel Gundam raised its shield in defense. The claw clamped onto the shield, sending vibrations through the frame into the cockpit. Stabilizing the Duel Gundam, Yzak pressed a series of commands. The mobile suit holstered its beam rifle on the rear skirt armor, drew its beam saber, and charged at the Raider Gundam.
Unnoticed, the Calamity Gundam had maneuvered behind the Duel Gundam. Its two back-mounted beam cannons charged and fired.
Inside the Duel Gundam's cockpit, Yzak watched the situation on the rear display, his face a mix of horror and despair. "Mother..." he murmured, his mind flashing to an image of his mother.
In the Calamity Gundam's cockpit, Orga grinned at the seemingly inevitable demise of the Duel Gundam. "It's over!" he declared.
Just then, a thick beam shot rapidly from the distance.
The beam narrowly missed the Duel Gundam, perfectly intercepting the attack launched by the Calamity Gundam.
"Who is it?"
Orga's expression turned cold as he observed the situation, his voice laced with displeasure.
In the next moment, more beams targeted the Calamity Gundam he piloted.
Unable to finish his attack, Orga swiftly maneuvered the Calamity Gundam to evade.
As he dodged the assaults, the Freedom Gundam and Justice Gundam appeared on the battlefield.
Piloted by Athrun, the Justice Gundam charged straight toward the Calamity Gundam, its mechanical arms brandishing thick beam sabers that swept horizontally at the enemy.

Yzak voiced his bewilderment upon seeing the Justice Gundam. Meanwhile, the Raider Gundam retracted its mechanical claw and swiftly retreated, dodging the beam saber swung by the Duel Gundam.
Transforming from MA to MS form, it swung its mace toward the Duel Gundam.
"Yzak, are you alright?"
The familiar voice over the comms confirmed to Yzak that it was indeed Athrun. His face darkened as he questioned irritably.
"Athrun, what are you doing here?!"
Hearing Yzak's query, Athrun replied calmly.
"I came to stop the war."
After his response, his finger pressed the trigger.
The Fortissimo Beam Cannon fired at the Calamity Gundam.
Orga skillfully dodged the beam attacks with the Calamity Gundam, then aimed its two rear beam cannons at the Justice Gundam and opened fire.
Athrun evaded the shots in the Justice Gundam, and through the screen, he spotted missiles flying across the battlefield—their design distinct from conventional ones.
Their presence instantly reminded Athrun of his military academy training.
His expression shocked, he urgently called out to Kira.
"Kira, those missiles are nuclear warheads!"
At the mention of nuclear warheads, Kira's face also showed alarm, and without hesitation, he declared.
"Shoot them down!"
As he spoke, Kira prepared to target the nuclear missiles.
Shani quickly deduced Kira's intent from the Freedom Gundam's movements. A smirk crossed his face as he spoke with a mix of amusement and seriousness.

Mu and Ro's intervention disrupted Shani's plans.

Shani growled in frustration.
Controlling the Forbidden Gundam, he defended against the attacks and returned fire at the Aile Strike and Red Frame.
Meanwhile, near the Justice Gundam and Calamity Gundam.
"Athrun, we'll handle things here!"
"Cagalli!"
Hearing Cagalli's voice, Athrun called out with concern. Upon hearing him, Cagalli replied with confidence in her voice.
