Chapter 236 - ★ 235 (STAR WARS II, THE INTERMEDIATE GOD I)

★235

ANTARES POV

After escaping from the God of Judgement, Sabaki, Sensei and I took refuge in another world. With his judgment bound to the Star Realm, he will not be able to pursue us any further.

"That bastard's too strong,"

I muttered, cracking my neck as I sat cross-legged upon the fabric of space itself.

"Words."

Sensei who's on his feets corrected before sighing.

"Even with our True Bodies, I doubt we can take care of his vessel."

With my body healed, I stood up and cracked my fingers.

"Well, we can't just sit here and keep hiding. We have to join the war immediately."

"I know. But we can't have an Omni chasing us while we engage with the Dark Stars. He'll simply throw something huge enough to kill two birds with one stone."

"He's right. That's the least he can do if we're engaging with the enemy."

"Two birds with one stone indeed. I have a plan, just follow me, I know where to go."

I reached for the void, calling a portal into being, but its path was sealed. Even from this distance, Sabaki's awareness could end us in an instant.

"Where are you heading to?"

"The Star Realm. Here's the plan, we'll split and go in different directions. While I know he can track and dispose of us simultaneously, we won't be just running."

"What do we do then?"

"You head straight to Elyvra to inform Lady Elara. She'll find a way to divert his attention and delay our execution."

"And you?"

"I'll go straight to Solaria to meet with the Deity of Sun."

"That's risky, you don't even know Sun God. Let's swap destinations. I'm well-known even among the Omnis and besides, you'll be much safer in Elyvra."

Ton suggested and I took action immediately ignoring his suggestion.

By sealing off every path of retreat, channelling Silver Dust preventing any disturbance, I pushed him toward the portal leading to Elyvra.

"Don't worry, I'll be alright. Until we meet again, Sensei."

I said with a smile, watching him fall into the portal before closing it. He can react and prevent his passage but I made sure he couldn't.

'Now what the hell will I do in Solaria?'

I asked myself, unsure of my next move.

"I'll let fate decide."

I shrugged, releasing my darkish silver aura before departing for the Star Realm.

I travelled through the cosmos at a controlled pace, drifting between the Drops as they stretched endlessly around me.

On my way to Solaria, a powerful presence caught my attention, sharp enough to pull me off course. I shifted towards it, closing the distance to see for myself.

What I found made me pause. A Dark Star stood alone, facing nine Supergods and a Hypergod.

"Probably Magos level. A Nebula Tier was it?"

I surged forward at full speed, cutting through the distance in an instant, and seized the Nebula from the scene like an eagle snatching its prey.

"I'll be borrowing this. Don't expect it back."

I said, my voice carrying over the Stars as I tore him away from their grasp.

Without slowing, I plunged into a Nest, its passage folding around me as it led into an empty Hyperworld. The space opened wide and hollow.

I hurled him into the artificial void within, the force sending him deep into the expanse as the entrance sealed behind us.

"A Nebula?"

I spoke, hovering above the void as my body flared with restless energy, the space around me bending under the pressure.

Below, the long-haired crimson Dark Star rose to his feet, dressed in white and black, his movements steady despite the damage. He tilted his head and cracked his neck, the sound sharp as the bone realigned itself.

"Antares."

"Ah, yes. Antares the Super Star."

I replied, a faint smile forming.

"Seems I am popular, even among the Dark Stars."

"Enough with the childish act."

He swept his robe aside, and the air around him shifted instantly, growing heavier, darker, as though the space itself had acknowledged the change.

'So he was holding against those Stars. Had it not been for the plan, I doubt we could have won this war. Nah, the OGs aren't making their moves yet. We might still be in trouble. '

I remained silent realising how the Dark Stars literally have a huge chance of winning despite what I did.

"I'm Antares, yes. Who are you?"

"The second authority within Scarlet Peak. The Crimson Nebula, Shinku."

"Who's the first?"

"The Crimson Lord himself."

He said, releasing a red beam. This is a physically based attack and I'm far beyond that so I let the beam engulf me in its so-called destructive power.

I felt the beam extending all the way to the surface of the Nest, grazing the Hyperworlds nearby. It died off but I appeared unharmed.

"Nice range."

I remarked, detecting a signal rapidly closing in on our position.

Now wanting to let him have my prey, I raised my arm and my aura flickered solidifying into a darkish silver whip cloaked with violet void.

This isn't an ordinary whip, it carries the essence of my will and will do as instructed not as it's meant to function.

"Thanks for contributing to the war, you fought bravely."

I said before lashing down at Shinku. The whip not only destroyed him completely but went further to create a darkish silver mark on the void itself.

The whip was meant to break down any Energy and its Filaments so I wasn't limited to destroying just his physical or conceptual body. I dismantled the very fabric of his existence and without my authority, he'll remain forgotten until I prove otherwise.

Essereos & Eidon destroy, Cognivars & Akasar forgets, Mytheon & Narrin wipes, he's gone, forgotten.

I swiftly channelled my energy into my fist, turning just in time to deflect the azure spear with a backhand strike. It spun out of control, tearing through everything in its path on the other side.

"Nice speed."

My eyes locked onto the threat I've been waiting for, Sabaki.

He glared down at me with those cold azure eyes. But unlike before where I was forced to submit to his presence, that did happen.

My left hand, the one I had used to deflect the spear, began to shift, its form warping as it transitioned into my Battle Form. The change was steady, controlled, power settling into it as it completed.

I rested it against my waist, my posture relaxed, almost casual, as I looked back at him. My gaze held no emotion, only a quiet, unwavering focus.

Energy creates emotions and feelings and aren't bound by what they create. I simply rewrote my mind with that code, disabling Ethyrites. I'm currently a machine powered by nothing but my goals.

"Let's take this to another step shall we?"

I asked just in time my darkish silver aura gained more light, losing all the darkness it ever contained. My body glowed dull silver, despite its dullness, it illuminated the void and with that, I called forth my Battle Form.

My body began to replicate and refine the cosmological structures of every world I had ever encountered, real or imagined, merging their essence into my very flesh. Even half of Nihilius was woven into me, its abyssal nature fusing with my raw skin in a symphony of cosmic reconstruction.

A dull silver radiance bled from my pores, coalescing and hardening into armour that sheathed parts of my body like molten starlight turning to metal. My golden eyes dimmed, shifting back to their true hue, a cold, luminous azure that shimmered with layered infinities.

Beneath my left eye, a black sigil bloomed, a tattoo of living void pulsing faintly, the mark of what I had become, the Two Law God, encompassing all dualities and what's beyond them.

My hair lengthened, flowing past my shoulders and down to my hips, each strand glimmering faintly like woven starlight. Though I did not need them, a pair of immaculate white wings unfurled from my back, vast, radiant, and divine.

Between their feathers, cosmic bodies drifted in silent orbit, miniature stars, worlds, and galaxies suspended in serene harmony, each pulse of light echoing the rhythm of creation itself.

"Void Eater."

The word left my lips like a decree. An orb of pure void coalesced above my left palm, its surface rippling with devouring silence, a sphere so black it seemed to consume the light around it, warping space and thought alike.

"Are you ready, Sabaki?"

I asked calling him by his name, dropping any honorifics and titles.

"Cute transforming."

He spread his palm and a solidified azure blade rested on his palm. Just as it did, it fizzled and disintegrated with a single thought. Arcanocysts prioritise my command over his magic, causing it to deactivate.

"Take this seriously."

I noted calmly as Vacumorph reshaped itself into a sleek obsidian spear, then launched toward Sabaki at blinding speed, tearing through the air like a rift in reality itself.

"I see."

He raised his hand and a sword materialised. And from the looks of it, this isn't an ordinary sword.

Heavy lighting cloaked the blade and he struck down. Sensing the threat, I called off Vacumorph and attempted to sever something but that didn't happen.

'Heh?'

'Hehe.'

White chuckled.

'All the energy in this vicinity has been converted to azure energy.'

His update flashed through my mind, and I shifted tactics, unleashing Void Eater, which surged forward and consumed the lightning in a single, ravenous burst.

'Azure or not, Void Eater can handle them all.'
