Keuirseu sees Destiny surrounded.
He flings his hands outward—
A VOID-WAVE bursts from him, tearing demons apart.
But his first instinct?
Protect her.
He warps behind Destiny, pushing her safely behind him.
"Stay behind me!"
his voice cracks.
Destiny blushes even through the chaos.
A man on a distant radio tower snipes demons with divine bullets.
CRACK—CRACK—CRACK—!!
He picks off winged demons like flies.
"This is for MY FAMILY—!!"
But—
A demon giant as tall as a tree slams into the tower.
The man screams as the tower starts to fall—
Cyrus launches upward, golden lightning blasting behind him.
He catches the man midair.
"Got you!" he growls.
Then he vanishes the man far away from the war zone.
Two hundred demons turn toward her.
Blood Reaper crouches low, eyes sharp, smile spreading.
"Playtime."
She darts forward—
a red streak—
pouncing, tearing, devouring.
She becomes a shadow, a flame, a beast, a goddess of slaughter.
Constant watches her—
loving her.
Terrified for her.
Terrified of losing her.
Dyren watches her—
loving that she's finally becoming the monster he always saw.
The demon army spreads across the entire world—
and Blood Reaper leads the slaughter.
In her red outfit.
With tar wings.
With hunger.
With destiny roaring inside her chest.
This is the moment she becomes feared across realms.
Narya dragged herself up, clutching her stomach wound.
She hissed—
ready to lung at Blood Reaper again—
until something tiny landed on her face.
The silver spider.
He stared at her with six glowing eyes.
Narya blinked.
"…you wouldn't—"
He BIT her.
Hard.
Right under the eye socket.
Narya SCREAMED.
Her whole body spasmed, collapsing backward in shock, venom foaming around her mouth.
"W–WHAT ARE YOU—!?" she shrieked.
The spider chirped victoriously.
Blood Reaper smirked, wiping blood from her mouth.
"We are family," she said simply.
The spider raised his little legs in triumph—
screaming in his tiny voice—
"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
Then something happened.
Something impossible.
His body cracked—
glowed—
expanded—
Silver threads spun around him, swirling like a cocoon.
The cocoon burst—
And standing in its place was a thirteen-year-old demon spider boy.
Silver hair.
Black eyes with silver pupils.
Four faint spider legs made of light behind him.
Barefoot.
Sharp teeth.
Beautiful.
Terrifying.
He stomped into the center of the road and shouted:
"WHO'S NEXT?!"
Arachneon answered.
She shrieked, livid.
"YOU LITTLE TRAITOR—!!"
She lunged at him.
But KENNA slammed into her midair, tackling her back with silver wings.
Kenna's eyes glowed fiercely.
"You're not touching him."
Arachneon hissed as they crashed into a burning sedan.
Veira swooped in.
She grabbed the boy by his glowing silver hair, yanking him upward.
He snarled, claws out.
"LET GO OF ME—!"
Veira back-handed him across the face.
Hard.
Blood Reaper growled.
Her wings curled inward, dripping tar.
She teleported—
SLAP!!!
Her backhand hit Veira so hard the Spider Sister flew through an entire storefront window.
Glass exploded.
Blood Reaper roared—
a sound that shook the road.
The spider boy stared at her, stunned…
and grinned.
"Mom."
Blood Reaper froze.
Then her expression softened—
just a flicker.
Only Constant noticed.
Constant stared at her with wide eyes.
She wasn't just killing now.
She was becoming something ancient.
Something that could love—
AND destroy.
He stepped closer.
"Reaper…"
his voice barely a whisper.
But Dyren watched him.
And Dyren's stomach TWISTED with disgust.
He snarled under his breath,
"She will never belong to you."
Icca appeared beside Dyren, licking demon blood from her fingers.
"Dang, brother. What now?"
Dyren didn't take his eyes off Constant.
"I will kill him," Dyren said calmly.
Icca smiled, adoring his ruthlessness.
"Father wants her close," she said, pulling something from her belt.
A tiny crescent-shaped dagger—
black metal
glowing red
forged from moon poison.
"A gift," she whispered.
She placed it in Dyren's palm.
Then vanished into smoke.
Dyren stared at the blade.
And smiled.
Candy danced into the chaos, giggling.
Pink fog spewed from her hands, clouding the battlefield.
Demons collapsed into dreamy stupors.
Humans staggered.
Even spider beasts tripped.
But—
Candy's power does NOTHING to Blood Reaper.
In fact—
Blood Reaper grows angrier.
She stalks through the fog, eyes blazing.
Candy snickered behind Constant, hiding behind him like a shield.
"Go ahead, Reaper," she teased.
"Try to touch me."
Blood Reaper lunged—
but Constant held her back, arms around her waist.
"STOP! She's messing with you!"
Blood Reaper snarled in his face:
"MOVE."
Constant held tighter.
"No—this isn't you!"
Candy laughed even harder.
Blood Reaper reached her limit.
Her flames turned BLACK.
Her wings spread wide.
A hand grabbed hers—
firm
hot
unshakably confident.
Dyren.
He pulled her close, ignoring Constant completely.
"I told you," Dyren whispered into her ear.
His voice was a hook.
A sin.
A promise.
"You're meant to devour them."
Blood Reaper's breath trembled.
Between rage
and desire
and instinct.
She didn't pull away.
Dyren smirked at Constant over her shoulder.
"You can't love all of her," he said.
Constant's eyes filled with pain.
Dyren leaned closer.
"But I can."
Blood Reaper exhaled a breath of fire—
and the battlefield went silent for one terrifying second.
Her predator mode was hitting its peak.
