Chapter 123 - Efficiency (123)

Having gotten what he wanted from the holy knight, whether the man lived or died was none of his business now.

Now, what he needed to make sure of was the destruction of the goddamn Buster Call.

They were close enough to the island for that.

It seemed like the CP9 agent didn't manage to escape with the fake blueprint, which meant Kairo's backup plan wasn't in effect right now.

He didn't plan for Nami to knock out Blueno so quickly; he expected the CP9 agent to have Haki, so at best he expected her to put up a good fight and Blueno escaping.

But she deadass was stronger than he thought, so his plan of waiting for Blueno to enter the ship to teleport in and slaughter everyone had to be canceled.

He sighed, his gaze colder than usual.

He was a shinobi—this was something he was trained to do.

Killing as efficiently as possible. There was no need to take pleasure in the victim's pain, he said, as if he wasn't torturing a holy knight a second prior.

With a swift movement of his blade, the holy knight's head was separated from his body. Blood splurted everywhere. The tattoo of the man seemed to dim before vanishing.

His eyes looked soulless.

As if every ounce of life he may have possessed a second earlier had been ripped from his body.

Kairo's eyes would then go toward the new Devil Fruit in his hand.

{Hito-Hito no Mi, Mythical Type, Model: Seraphim}

It was indeed quite a power-up. If he ate this right now, he would jump a whole tier of power. Yet, he did not want said fruit.

It was stupidly OP.

As long as the user would align with the original being, you would get great buffs from it. And a Seraphim is a good guy most of the time—more like God's elite soldier, but still.

Good guy.

The power gifted to them was divine. They were basically DnD Paladins who also had Aasimar ancestry.

Healing, divine smiting, flying, giving your party buffs—yes, actual buffs—replenishing their Haki... it was kinda like the ultimate support which could tank a sh*t ton of damage.

However, it wasn't for him. It wasn't his fighting style.

"We will find you an owner soon enough," Kairo said softly as the fruit seemed to lightly glow in his hand. He had a soft smile on his face.

Well, that was one fruit down. There were others to go, like the Wood Logia and the Gravity and Darkness fruits.

There were quite a few fruits his clan guarded.

However, it wasn't time for this.

{Reanimation Jutsu}

From the ground, two coffins would arise.

The coffins would slowly open to reveal Enel and Crocodile. They had patches all over their bodies as if their skin was peeling. Their eyes were pitch black; only their pupils could be seen.

Apart from that, it was pure darkness.

They had on the same clothes and luxury they had before Kairo had slimed them out.

"Well, at least he was able to do this much," Kairo said, looking at the two zombies in front of him.

His gaze would then go to his tattoos.

He would make a hand seal. {Shadow Clone Jutsu Seal}

Opening the door to the Abyss once more, using the holy knight's body as a conduit—whatever remained of it at least—in order to suck dry every ounce of Imu's power which was in that sh*t.

Using it as a battery, Enel and Crocodile would both grow six more feet. They would grow longer fangs, their eyes would seem to turn infernal, they would grow demonic wings, and even their Devil Fruit abilities seemed to receive a massive buff and change, as Enel's lightning now seemed to be black, and Crocodile's sand was heavier.

They would turn their gaze to Kairo, who had this rather cold look in his eyes.

"Those ships over there... kill them all."

The spawn of Hell seemed to smile at that.

Enel turning into lightning and rushing toward them, and Crocodile turning into sand, ready to wreak havoc.

Kairo would raise his sword in the air, looking at his bloody weapon.

Then his gaze went to the head of the holy knight.

Well, it seemed like he had found a present to send to Imu.

Since the holy knight teleported here, Kairo had gone through the city records. They just showed up here one day—so teleported here.

It was safe to assume an Abyss seal was there somewhere. He just had to find it, and give Imu his present. After all, it would be rude of him not to greet the King of the World.

He wasn't a bad guest, after all.

In the background, the sound of lightning could be heard. That day, not a single World Government navy survived. They were all—and I do mean every single one of them—dead. The only person who survived was one navy Vice Admiral by the name of Hina.

Apart from that, everyone got put in a pack.

A/N....chapter written late, I have a sleep deprived idea my future self probably will forget about, so let me just have it here in case.

The coon of the Uchiha clan.....quite self explanatory.
