Yesterday Phei had finally become hers in the way she had secretly wanted for far longer than she would ever confess aloud. He had taken her first time, she had become his woman, and now they were standing beside warm water acting awkward around each other like two idiots discovering that crossing one enormous boundary did not magically erase shyness the following morning.

Phei moved closer.
Sienna heard the water dripping from him and immediately stiffened again. "What are you doing?"
"Coming here."
"I can hear that."
He reached for the blanket resting around her shoulders.
Her fingers caught it instinctively. "Phei~"
"Relax." he whispered softly, soothing away her shyness and stiffness,
For one second they silently fought over the fabric, Sienna holding it with offended dignity while Phei smiled behind her before her grip loosened.
