After a while it was time for the reception, where everyone comes together for a meal to support the family.
However, Layla's friends and I didn't stick around. That family wouldn't get our support.
When we got to the parking lot Samantha saw what I was driving and asked, "Couldn't you have driven something less ostentatious?"
I only replied, "The others got burned up."
Samantha and I then made plans for her to follow me back to the warehouses.

Once back she saw Layla's car still sitting there. She asked, "Are you going to move that?"
"No, that's Layla's car. I wouldn't feel right driving that. Plus, I think there is some law about using things before the affairs are in order. Just to make sure people aren't trying to steal them. Or something. I don't know. Follow me, this way."
We walked deeper into the warehouse lot until I stopped in front of a garage door.
There, I said, "The plan is inside."
