Chapter 29 - loppo vs leonardos “The Final Battle Before the Plan”

Omni verse

After Stardust's battle with Lenor, the number of spectators increased dramatically. The excitement reached a whole new level—people even began placing bets. Everyone was thrilled for the upcoming duel between Leonardos and Loppo.

In the preparation room, Leonardos got ready with his team. They gave him motivation and tactical advice, boosting his confidence and excitement even further. Only one minute remained before the match.

As Leonardos headed toward the arena, he suddenly noticed someone—it was Eldor. Leonardos looked up toward a high window, but Eldor had already disappeared into hiding. Leonardos didn't dwell on it and continued toward the battlefield.

Meanwhile, Loppo calmly approached the arena. The two locked eyes. The referee began counting down from three.

As soon as the match started, Leonardos launched an immediate attack. Loppo stood still, completely calm. Just as Leonardos was about to strike with his sword, Loppo blocked the attack with his bare hand. The crowd was shocked.

Leonardos followed up with rapid strikes, but Loppo blocked every single one with his hand. Then, suddenly, Loppo kicked Leonardos, sending him flying backward. Leonardos couldn't even understand what had happened.

Loppo then used a technique—he created a purple hypnotic wheel.

Leonardos responded instantly, unleashing a flame tornado. The flames surged toward Loppo, but Loppo did something unbelievable—he redirected the flames using the purple hypnotic wheel. The entire crowd was stunned.

The flames stopped mid-air.

Loppo pointed to the left—and the flames actually moved left, crashing into a wall and causing a fiery explosion.

Everyone was mesmerized by Loppo's technique.

Leonardos realized he needed to be far more careful with his abilities. He used flame rings, sending them toward Loppo. But once again, Loppo activated his hypnotic wheel, redirecting the rings back toward Leonardos.

Leonardos dodged his own attack, but one ring struck him, causing a small explosion. He took minor damage.

Enraged, Leonardos charged at Loppo with full power. Loppo repeatedly used his technique, dealing heavy damage. Leonardos felt like he was fighting himself. No matter how many techniques he used, Loppo turned them against him.

Leonardos grew frustrated. He began searching for a way to attack without being affected by Loppo's ability—but he couldn't find one. Each attempt only made things worse.

Finally, Leonardos ignited his sword and began launching flame-infused strikes. This time, Loppo struggled to dodge.

Leonardos increased the pressure, accelerating his attacks. At last, he managed to knock Loppo back.

For the first time, Loppo took damage.

Leonardos pressed on. He was finally able to match Loppo. Loppo continued using his technique, but now Leonardos could dodge it. He had grown stronger.

For a moment, Loppo seemed surprised. Then he stood still and brought his hands together, preparing a new technique. Purple lights began to glow.

Leonardos tried to understand what was happening—then suddenly, purple light started emanating from Loppo's left eye.

Leonardos realized: Loppo had activated his Hekari.

But something didn't add up—Loppo's technique wasn't a power-based ability, it was strategic. How would Hekari enhance it?

The purple lights intensified, splitting into two. Loppo launched the attack at Leonardos.

Leonardos tried to dodge—but strangely, the purple light followed him.

It hit him.

Suddenly, Leonardos felt heavy.

Loppo raised his hand slightly—and Leonardos began floating upward.

Leonardos was shocked.

Then Loppo sharply motioned downward.

Leonardos slammed into the ground at tremendous speed, shattering stone and creating a cloud of dust. Half of his outfit was torn apart. He had taken serious damage.

Loppo continued, launching more purple lights, striking Leonardos from every direction—right, left, below—before slamming him into the ground again.

Leonardos was badly injured. Blood began to flow.

Loppo slowly approached him.

Leonardos tried to stand—but Loppo stopped him with his foot.

Pugo attempted to rush into the arena, but Luka stopped him, saying Leonardos could still overcome this.

Pugo trusted Luka and stayed back.

At that moment, Leonardos fell into a dream.

Leonardos' Memory

In his dream, Leonardos saw his childhood—and his father, who trained him.

As a child, Leonardos formed a small gang called the Little Flame Gang. They made wooden swords and played together, sharing fun and laughter.

One day, Leonardos returned home and met his father.

His father asked if he had a good time.

Leonardos happily said yes.

Then his father asked if he had forgotten something while playing.

Leonardos said no—but then suddenly realized he had skipped his sword training.

He quickly grabbed his sword and kimono and rushed to train, striking a wooden target repeatedly.

His father watched silently.

He noticed something strange—Leonardos wasn't serious. He had a smile on his face while training.

The next day, when Leonardos came home, his father had bought a game console.

Leonardos' eyes lit up with joy.

They played together, laughing and enjoying themselves.

Later, during training, Leonardos' father picked up a wooden sword and challenged him.

Leonardos accepted.

They began to fight.

Leonardos launched wide, aggressive attacks—but his father calmly blocked them all.

Then, with a single strike, his father knocked Leonardos to the ground.

Leonardos was confused.

Leonardos:

"How is it that none of my attacks hit, but one of yours knocks me down? That's not fair!"

His father gave a meaningful answer:

Father:

"When you go to have fun, you smile and enjoy yourself. That's good.

But if you act the same way in serious situations, you won't truly focus—you'll do things half-heartedly.

You must be serious when it matters… or you'll face bad results, just like now."

They both laughed.

From that day on, Leonardos trained seriously—and understood the meaning of focus.

The memory ended.

Back in reality, Leonardos finally understood why he couldn't defeat Loppo.

He had been arrogant at the start, thinking he would easily crush Loppo. Because he didn't take him seriously, Loppo gained the advantage.

Now, Leonardos' seriousness returned—stronger than ever.

He stood up.

With an intense glare, he faced Loppo.

Loppo grew slightly tense.

Leonardos launched a barrage of sword strikes, then followed up with flame rings, knocking Loppo to the ground.

Finally, Leonardos unleashed a flame tornado, blasting Loppo out of the arena.

Despite everything, Leonardos had won.

This time, he didn't collapse.

He stood tall and celebrated his victory.

The audience was stunned—what had seemed like Loppo's controlled match had turned into Leonardos' triumph.

His team rushed to him, celebrating proudly.

Meanwhile, Eldor had returned to his spaceship. He ordered his crew to establish a connection with Ludos.

The connection was made.

Eldor:

"Ludos… it's almost time. What do you think?"

Ludos:

"This is the beginning of the end. Before the final battle, you must prepare your equipment and finalize the plan. I trust you."

Eldor:

"Trust… of course."

Now, only the final match remained.

Akiro and Pugo stepped into the arena.

They wished each other luck…

Then stared each other down intensely.

Will this battle be interrupted by Eldor's plan… or will it truly happen?
