Chapter 37 - R18-Draco Malfoy SI cap 37

The Malfoy family has been rich for generations, during which they have declined a little for a generation or two, but they always recovered.

But it was during the last 10 years that their wealth and power increased to surpass any milestone in their family history.

All of her businesses proved successful and very lucrative, making Narcissa Malfoy very famous throughout Europe for her skill.

And since he expected that such wealth would attract envy, Draco had made sure that Narcissa used the family money to be prepared for any attack.

They had taken charge of training and maintaining a large team of guards, whose main job was to protect them and whose secondary job was to watch over and protect the family's various businesses and properties.

And since they had all signed powerful contracts and taken oaths, they had nothing to worry about in terms of betrayal.

With the group's loyalty secured, they had no qualms about sharing powerful spells with them and training them to increase their battle skills.

They had also been tasked with structuring the team and assigning everyone their roles at work, creating alert levels according to the danger they faced to complement and facilitate their work.

And as I expected, in those years either Draco and Narcissa or the family businesses had been attacked on numerous occasions.

But in all of them the attacks were repelled and the attackers were mostly killed.

Only a few survived, some of whom went to prison while a few others managed to escape.

Of course, those who went to prison mysteriously died of 'natural causes', while the bodies of many criminals around the world were found with cryptic messages, causing many to fear revenge from the Malfoy family.

Therefore, there had been no attacks in the last 2 years.

Draco felt one of his tattoos react and knew that Narcissa had been attacked.

But since the danger level was 3, the blond man could breathe a sigh of relief and let the team protecting Narcissa take care of it.

Normally this level of danger will soon decrease as Narcisa's security team would be sufficient to handle it.

But their eyes widened when the danger level rose to level 4 in less than 1 minute.

In all the attacks they both suffered, the maximum danger level reached was level 4, and most of their guards were needed to repel the danger, decreasing the protection of the family's other businesses.

Therefore, Draco ordered an increase in the recruitment of the security group so that this would not happen again.

Looking at the number on his arm, Draco figured out that the reason the danger level started at 3 and then quickly rose to 4 was that the attackers held back at first and then attacked hard with the aim of catching Narcissa's bodyguards off guard.

Of course, Narcisa's safety is not simple either.

When traveling to another country, other teams positioned themselves nearby and were ready to appear and support her in her defense of women.

Therefore, Narcisa's safety was not in danger for a short time.

Enough to get her and Anna out of the place or for more guards to arrive to support.

Draco only hoped that these guards would manage to repel the attack and quickly return Narcissa to Great Britain.

But what he feared most happened.

(5)

Seeing the number on his arm, the blond man immediately stood up from his seat.

"Draco, what's wrong?" Pansy asked, surprised to see the blond boy suddenly stand up.

Flora and Hestia, to Draco's right, were also surprised and looked at him questioningly.

But Draco didn't have time for explanations.

The blond boy quickly analyzed his position and calculated the time to run past the Gryffindor table and reach the door of the Great Hall and then leave the castle.

Although it was only a few minutes, the blond man mentally shook his head at the thought of wasting so much time.

Given the possibility that Narcissa and Anna might be harmed, Draco didn't bother to keep a low profile.

Instead, his gaze lingered on the windows along the side wall of the Great Hall.

'That would do the trick,' thought the blond man.

Others had also noticed Draco's sudden stand-up and watched with curiosity to see what he was going to do.

But everyone's eyes widened in disbelief at what followed.

Literally in just a second, like the blink of an eye, Draco's figure launched itself from its place, flying over the Slytherin house table and through the window in the wall as if there was nothing in its place, leaving the window intact.

Draco's sudden movement attracted more attention, and everyone watched him disappear through the window.

"¡Draco!" x3

Pansy, Flora, and Hestia shouted Draco's name and stood up from their seats.

And without worrying about etiquette, they climbed onto the table and passed between the numerous plates of food, and quickly approached the window and tried to see the blond man's figure through it.

In addition to the two girls, more Slytherin students moved towards the various windows in the wall and searched for Draco's figure.

"It's flying!" many of them shouted, attracting more students from their homes.

"Students, return to your seats!"

Dumbledore stood up and quickly approached, trying to maintain order, but the students ignored him and more students from Slytherin and other houses rushed towards the windows.

Beside Dumbledore, the other professors also followed him, and all those who could see something through the window watched in surprise as the blond figure flew away.

I was flying!

It was known that only the previous dark lord could fly without a broom or some other magical artifact, so it was a surprise to see Draco do the same feat in front of them.

Everyone was surprised and fixed their gaze on Draco's figure as he walked away into the distance.

And everyone saw it.

When Draco moved far enough away to be out of range of the school's barriers, Draco's figure suddenly disappeared.

Everyone who saw his figure knew that he had used an apparition.

.

.

.

Unconcerned about the chaos he had left at the school, the blond boy appeared in the air several hundred kilometers away from his original location.

If it had been earlier, Draco's magical reserves would not have been enough for him to make such a journey in a single jump.

But with his Dragon tattoo on his back providing 7 times his magical energy, Draco easily completed the journey and still had plenty of energy to spare.

But without bothering to appreciate the distance that appeared, Draco's gaze fell towards solid ground in the direction of the Delacour mansion, and he quickly flew towards it.

It only took a few minutes to see her from a distance and assess her situation.

To begin with, the Delacour Mansion was surrounded by dozens of wizards and werewolves.

The mansion's protection was being attacked by these enemy wizards while the werewolves waited behind, surely waiting for their moment to act.

Meanwhile, a dozen of Narcissa's guards were behind the barrier preparing to fight the enemies when the barrier fell.

From hundreds of meters in the air, Draco looked through everything thanks to a spell.

Two circles of light floated in front of their eyes and they could see the place perfectly.

In this way, he saw that along with the Malfoy family guards, there were also other wizards.

But these were few and appeared to be aurors from the DMLE of France judging by their robes.

The reason the Aurors from the Department of Magical Application of France were here was because the Director of the Department was Jean Delacour, the current head of the Delacour house.

As the mansion of the head of the department, this group of Aurors was stationed here for situations like this.

Naturally, they will also join the Malfoy family guards to protect the Manor.

And why was Narcissa here?

Well, because I was in the country due to a banquet that will take place at the Palace of Saint-Cloud, and before that I was visiting a friend and they were planning to go together to the banquet which is taking place at this moment.

Apparently, the attackers targeted the Delacour mansion just before Narcissa and Apoline Delacour were headed there, taking advantage of the fact that the country's law enforcement agencies were occupied with the banquet.

Located just outside Paris, the Palace of Saint-Cloud was one of France's iconic and historically significant castles.

But since the fire that consumed it in the 19th century, the castle has been abandoned by worldly people.

After all, they have no use for a destroyed castle.

Or so they think.

The truth is that the Saint-Cloud Palace was taken over and renovated by the mages in France, and they made sure that mundanes would not try to reclaim it.

Whether through protections surrounding the place that repel mundanes or visits to the relevant mundane authorities when someone wants to renovate the castle and they make them change their minds.

Since then, this castle has been used for numerous meetings of wizards and witches over the past century.

Like today, when a banquet would take place between numerous important figures from the magical countries of France and its neighboring countries of Europe.

Whether they are high-ranking members of the various ministries of magic or other powerful and high-status individuals, all will gather here.

This banquet takes place once a year and brings together influential people from all over Europe, so no one invited wants to miss it.

Narcisa is the same.

Since this event brings together highly influential people from different countries, it is an unmissable opportunity to create or strengthen the Malfoy family's businesses in those countries.

Looking into the distance, Draco saw that the country's law enforcement authorities were not completely incompetent.

Despite being busy with the banquet and the responsibility of protecting other places in the country, they had reacted to the attack on the mansion of their department director and another group of Aurors responded to the call of their colleagues.

But since the enemy wizards had erected anti-apparition and anti-portable barriers, as well as barriers that nullified broomstick flight, they had to arrive on foot.

Of course, the enemy mages wouldn't give them passage so easily.

Especially when there were more than 100 wizards and werewolves among them, and only 30 Aurors.

If it weren't for the Malfoy family guards who arrived later, they would have already been massacred.

But they hadn't made much progress either.

The enemies had erected powerful anti-Apparition and anti-Portover defenses, so they had to Apparate far away and head towards the Delacour mansion.

Draco was able to appear above the Delacour mansion because the protections do not reach that height.

And because he could fly in a different way than flying broomsticks, he wasn't afraid of falling.

In contrast, the aurors and guards did not have this ability and had to come here from afar.

And when they approached, hundreds of wizards and werewolves blocked their path.

Draco frowned because he could easily count 100 wizards and 200 werewolves in total blocking the passage of reinforcements.

This was not a force that could be assembled so easily and quietly.

His family also had informants in the underworld, but none of them told him about the gathering of so many wizards and werewolves for such an operation.

Normally a slip-up wouldn't be a problem, but these hundreds of wizards and werewolves were the reason the danger level had risen to 5.
