When Jean Delacour woke up this day, he knew it would be a complicated day.
After all, today I was in charge of security for an event that would be attended by many important people from the country and Europe.
And with so many important people setting foot on French soil, Jean had to expect anything and had prepared accordingly.
Whether a criminal is targeting one of these people specifically, or a group of dark wizards is planning a kidnapping with the aim of demanding a large ransom.
Or simply with the aim of causing chaos.
Nearly 100 French Aurors had gathered for this event, and more were ready to attend to any emergency at headquarters.
And since there were Aurors from other magical governments accompanying some important figures from their ministries, Jean was confident that the banquet would remain secure.
But although he expected there would be problems, he had never imagined they would be like this.
While waiting for his wife to arrive at the event, the man received multiple alerts of wizards and witches causing chaos across the country, prompting him to order most of the remaining Aurors and wizards at the barracks to be dispatched to deal with these disturbances.
He himself was leading a large group of Aurors at Saint-Cloud Palace, and with the riots suddenly occurring, attracting a large part of the Auror forces, he guessed that they would soon attack the banquet.
He was wrong.
The criminals, however, attacked his mansion with his family inside, and he thought the attackers' goal was to lure him in and leave the banquet unprotected.
The man learned of the attack thanks to a magic medallion he had hanging around his neck, which was connected to an identical medallion his wife had, and through which they could send short messages.
Jean deduced that the criminals were attacking his mansion so that he would abandon his post and they could easily attack the event.
Knowing this, Jean Delacour found himself in a dilemma.
His family was in danger, but his dedication to his work prevented him from leaving the place and running towards his mansion.
Gritting his teeth, instead of going personally, he first ordered a subordinate to lead a group of Aurors to protect his mansion and his family.
With the mansion's barrier and the original guards, he thought they could hold out for many hours.
Narcissa Malfoy had also arrived in the country and planned to attend the event with his wife, so he deduced that the woman's guards could help keep the attackers at bay for a longer time.
Until then, she imagined that the attackers would retreat and her family would be safe.
He did not expect that a member of the team that went to fight the criminals who attacked his mansion would return shortly afterwards with disturbing news.
To begin with, the area around his mansion was covered with anti-apparition and anti-portable barriers, preventing the Aurors from reaching the location quickly.
This was expected since the enemies wanted to hinder the movement of the aurors.
And as he guessed, his subordinates had to appear far from his mansion before heading towards the location.
What was disturbing was that they found hundreds of enemies, including wizards and werewolves, attacking their mansion.
The group of aurors would normally have been massacred under these circumstances.
It was thanks to a large group of individuals fighting against the enemies that the Aurors were able to survive.
These individuals identified themselves as guards of the Malfoy family and Jean Delacour again expressed his gratitude that Narcissa Malfoy had decided to visit her mansion.
The man was surprised that the woman had hundreds of guards, but he didn't care because together with his subordinates, they were able to contain the enemy and prevent them from breaking down the mansion's barrier.
Of course, this situation could change immediately, and the young auror returned to ask for help.
Jean Delacour's mind was in turmoil as he realized that the various disturbances in the country were not a distraction from attacking the banquet.
The true target of these criminals was his mansion, and the presence of hundreds of wizards and werewolves attacking his mansion proved it.
If the banquet was the goal, those hundreds of wizards and werewolves should be here.
But instead they were attacking his mansion and proved that all the riots around the country were to dilute the forces of the Aurors and prevent them from coming to his mansion.
Now panicked, the man quickly delegated his position to one of his subordinates, who will join the aurors from other ministries to protect the event, and immediately headed to his mansion along with another group of aurors.
Although he risked losing his job by abandoning his post if something were to happen, he couldn't just stay there.
He quickly appeared a great distance from his mansion in order to successfully appear.
And immediately after appearing, he saw a huge group of sounds and bright lights in the distance.
"Let's go"
Knowing he could not delay any longer, the man immediately began to run with his subordinates following him.
Of course, as they were far from the battlefield, he and the aurors following him had a wider field of vision and were the first to notice the abnormal movement of the clouds.
!!!!!
"JUDGMENT"
Jean wasn't sure if he was the only one to hear that deep voice, but he didn't have much time to figure out what was going on when countless electrical currents were born among the black clouds and powerful lightning bolts struck the surface.
"...Merlin"
Jean didn't know who said it, but he was just as surprised by the surreal scene unfolding before them.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
In the area around what Jean knew was her family's mansion, countless lightning bolts struck the ground from the heavy black clouds in the sky, producing a beautiful and terrifying sight.
Everyone's mind went blank for a few seconds as they watched the scene unfold in front of them.
Each terrifying lightning bolt struck the ground with tremendous power, more than enough to kill the unfortunate victim who happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
For Jean, it was obvious that this was someone else's doing, and her scalp stood on end at the fact that someone had so much power.
Only wizards like Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald had stories of great battles, and even then, Jean hadn't heard that those two men could accomplish what was happening in front of him.
'Ancient magic,' the man thought as he recalled the legends of great magicians and witches of the past, who were said to be able to manipulate the weather and move mountains and seas at will.
Jean didn't know exactly how much time had passed, but he came to when the last lightning bolt struck and the surrounding area regained its silence.
Worried about his family, the man quickly ran towards his mansion and his subordinates ran after him.
.
.
.
If Jean and his men were surprised by what they saw from a distance, those in the area of the lightning strikes were much more impressed.
The Aurors and the Malfoy family guards in the area stared in surprise and horror at the bodies on the ground.
Just moments ago, these were enemies fighting against them with deadly intentions.
But in just a few moments, these people were now nothing but coal.
The clothing of these people had mostly disappeared, leaving charred skin and flesh in view.
Many stared in horror at the sky for any sign of another lightning strike, while a few couldn't stand the smell of burning flesh and bent over before emptying their stomachs.
"Look!"
"There's someone flying!"
Suddenly, one of those looking at the sky pointed in a direction.
The rest followed in the direction he pointed and were surprised to see a human figure descend from the sky.
'Is that him?' everyone present wondered as they watched the figure descending towards the mansion's barrier.
The Delacour mansion's barrier had been under attack a few moments ago, so the lighting from the cracked barrier was visible.
As the figure approached the barrier, the Aurors and Malfoy family guards who had been watching its back looked at each other, as if wondering what to do.
Attack?
They had witnessed the previous natural disaster and suspected this figure was responsible.
If they were right, then how on earth would they stop him?
But unlike them, the group of Aurors and Malfoy family guards inside the mansion's barrier were able to see the figure's face and recognized it.
"Mr. Malfoy?!" they asked in surprise.
The Malfoy family guards recognized their boss and shouted in surprise.
They had suspected that the descending figure was the cause of so many lightning strikes, so it was surprising to them that this figure turned out to be their own boss.
"Do you know who he is?" the aurors asked.
Although they had heard him called Mr. Malfoy, they had never heard that the Malfoy Family had someone so strong.
But the aurora bearers were even more surprised when the figure approached and it turned out to be someone very young.
"¡Draco!"x2
The aurors didn't have a chance to ask anything when a scream was heard and 2 women walked between them and approached the barrier.
Draco descended until his feet touched the ground and his eyes darted around as he analyzed the situation.
"I hope you are well," Draco said as he looked at the two women behind the barrier.
Draco could easily destroy the barrier or get around it with some difficulty, but it was unnecessary.
"We are," the two women said.
"You arrived just in time," said Narcissa.
"Wait a moment, I'll tell Apollo to lower the barriers."
"It's not necessary, I'm here," was heard behind Narcisa, and a group of people were shown arriving.
In addition to a group of Aurors and the Malfoy family's female guards leaving the Manor, they were accompanied by 3 stunning women.
Although Narcisa and Anna were beautiful, there was no denying that the 3 women were on another level.
Draco looked at the older woman and saw her move her wand.
The young man felt the magical flow emanating from the woman's wand and connecting with the barrier in front of him.
While Apoline connected to the mansion's barrier, the gaze of the 3 Delacour women never left the figure of Draco Malfoy.
Although they knew of his existence due to Narcissa's friendship with Apoline and the business dealings between the two families, the image of Draco in their minds was only that of a normal young man.
They never imagined that Draco Malfoy was… this.
Unlike normal wizards and witches, the 3 women were Veela.
Like Veela, the 3 women were different from other wizards and witches.
Besides dazzling beauty, enchanting magic, and the ability to transform into harpy-like creatures, they had inherited what could be called a magical instinct.
For the three Delacour women, the atmosphere was saturated with magic.
They had seen the previous show and it was no surprise to them that the atmosphere felt so heavy after such magical prowess.
But what stood out like a star in the darkness was the blond young man behind the barrier.
In the senses of the three women, the young man in front of them concealed an enormous amount of magical energy ready to explode at any moment, and they couldn't help but swallow hard at such a shock.
Especially Apoline, who put all her effort into maintaining her composure as she lowered the barrier of the Delacour mansion.
Even when the barrier fell and Anna Parkinson ran towards the young man, the 3 women did not move from their positions.
