Location: The Crucible Grounds - Arena Floor
Time: Present Day - Tournament Quarterfinals
The arena hummed with anticipation as Caspian Jerkins stepped onto the floor. The holographic banners flickered, displaying his name in bold, shimmering script. The crowd's roar was a mixture of cheers and curiosity—the middle brother of the Jerkins family, stepping into the crucible to prove his worth.
Kazimir Zelenko materialized on the massive screen, his digital form shimmering with barely contained energy. His body moved with a fluid, almost hypnotic rhythm—a dance that seemed to capture the very essence of the moment. His arms swept through the air like wings, his hips swaying with a grace that was both commanding and playful.
"ALRIGHT, FOLKS!" Kazimir shouted, his voice layered with electronic distortion. "Let's give it up for Caspian Jerkins! This guy is a real jobber who does the part, walks it beautifully! But there's a downside—that inferiority complex he's got rattling around in his head. Feels like he's got a chip on his shoulder, probably because he's living under the shadow of his big brother Jericho. And now with Leo rising like a star? Seems like this Jerkin can't handle all the hot air!"
He paused, his body twisting in a dramatic spin. "Get it? Hot air? The three brothers? Probably what's suffocating our buddy Caspian here!"

The music that began to play was soaring and triumphant, its melody carrying a note of both hope and melancholy.
"Shine a light on the ones who fall,
Who stand in the shadow of the tall,
They carry the weight, they bear the strain,
But deep inside, they feel the pain..."
The lyrics wove through the arena, each word a reflection of Caspian's struggle.
"You can't breathe when you're living in someone else's glow,
You can't see when you're standing in the shadow,
Rise up, rise up, and find your way,
The sun will come, you'll have your day..."
Kazimir's dancing shifted, his movements becoming sharper, more deliberate. He moved like a man possessed by the spirit of the song, his body a vessel for its emotional weight.

The Audience
The crowd's reaction was immediate—a mixture of laughter, confusion, and skepticism.
"Sheesh," one spectator muttered, his voice carrying a note of disbelief. "When Kazimir said 'hot air'—is that some kind of joke? Cause I'm lost."
Another spectator shrugged, his voice carrying a note of resigned acceptance. "Well, it seems that's the future we're all heading to. Listening to lousy AI bots making jokes about people's families."
A third spectator—a young woman with sharp eyes—shook her head slowly. "It's not a joke. It's just... sad. Imagine having your entire family situation broadcasted like that."

The Arena Floor
Caspian Jerkins stood at the edge of the arena, his body tense, his expression one of barely contained fury. He glared at the massive screen, his hands clenching into fists.
That dummy AI punk, he thought, his internal voice carrying a note of venomous frustration. Why is it trying to be personal with me? What did I ever do to deserve this?
He raised his fist, shaking it at the screen in a comedic gesture of outrage.
"Hey!" he shouted, his voice carrying across the arena. "I'm right here! You want to say something to my face?!"
The crowd laughed, their voices a mixture of amusement and mockery.

VIP Section
Valerik leaned toward Jericho Jerkin, his voice carrying a note of dry amusement.
"No wonder you're always so serious," he said, his words dripping with sarcasm. "Always in a rush to prove yourself. Who wouldn't be, when you're the only sane one in the family?"
He pointed at Caspian, who was still shaking his fist at the screen.
"I would be, too."
Brenna covered her mouth, her laughter barely contained. Her eyes gleamed with amusement.
"The most interesting one of the Jerkins," she said, her voice soft but carrying, "is that Leo kid. Something about him feels right and wrong at the same time. As though he shouldn't have ever existed."
Valerik's eyebrows shot up. "Don't tell me you have a thing for that Leo?"
Jericho's head snapped toward Brenna, his expression one of barely concealed jealousy.
Brenna's smile widened. "No way. I'm just curious. What did he eat that made him start being all over the place?" She paused, her voice dropping to a thoughtful murmur. "Wasn't he a cripple who couldn't even form a revolution in his aethernova core? Suddenly, he can. And not just that—he hasn't even resonated his core for battle. It's just ordinary physical attributes and capability that have enabled him to reach this stage."
Valerik's brow furrowed. "Now that you mention it, it does seem weird. We haven't seen him activate his core once."
Nikolai Morozov shook his head slowly. "Nothing weird there. It just proves he's a potential prospect for your base."
Dhivya Rana leaned forward, her voice carrying a note of skepticism. "Or he's just too cocky to even try it. I hope he meets those freaks—that northern buffoon or that other Torrent narcissist."
She glanced at Eugene Torrent, her voice carrying a note of false apology. "No offense."
Eugene Torrent remained silent, his gaze fixed on the arena below. His expression was one of quiet intensity, his mind clearly elsewhere.
Dhivya's gaze lingered on him, her voice dropping to a whisper. "Sheesh. What's wrong with the guy? Now he's so serious."
Nikolai leaned in, his voice carrying a note of mystery. "Apparently, he was summoned by someone of higher standing from his family. The details of the meeting are unknown. But I can tell you one thing for certain..."
He paused, his expression shifting to one of enigmatic significance.
Nikolai's eyes narrowed. "And what's that, wise guy? Don't leave me hanging. Spit it out."
Dhivya's voice dropped to a barely audible whisper. "I don't know much other than that special ops guys from the Mysterium clan were there in droves."
Nikolai's breath caught in his throat. "What? Just—what? Where?"
Dhivya's hand shot out, covering Nikolai's mouth. "Zip it," she hissed. "It's being kept under wraps. The Jerkin base docks don't know anything about it. Perhaps Brenna's elder sister is aware of why they're here."
She released him, her voice carrying a note of finality. "For now, don't tell anyone I told you anything. Pretend I didn't even tell you at all."

Cinematic Finality
The music continued to play, its melody a constant presence.
"Shine a light on the ones who fall,
Who stand in the shadow of the tall..."
Jericho Jerkin's gaze shifted to Brenna, his expression one of quiet suspicion. His eyes narrowed, his mind racing with questions.
What does she know? he thought. And why is she keeping it from me?
Brenna noticed his gaze. Her hands raised in a gesture of innocence, her expression one of exaggerated ignorance.
"Don't look at me," she said, her voice carrying a note of playful defensiveness. "I don't know anything. Nothing at all."
Jericho's eyes lingered on her, his suspicion deepening.
We'll see, he thought. We'll see.
