Damian Sinclair felt a heavy pressure in his heart, and the words that came out were unconsciously a bit sarcastic.
Bella Acker lowered her eyes and explained softly, "I came to Creston this afternoon to see you, but Senior Quinn…"
"Enough!" Damian coldly interrupted her, "Senior Quinn, Senior Quinn, if Ms. Acker thinks your Senior Quinn is more important than me, then why bother coming to see me?"
"No, that's not it. Senior Quinn got into a car accident and is hospitalized; he almost died. I…"
Damian continued to interrupt her, "I also almost died!"
Bella's face turned pale, "Damian…"
Damian looked at her expression, feeling a bit irritated, and raised his hand to rub his brow. He didn't want to say those words, but somehow they just came out.
After a moment of silence, Damian spoke again, "I'm fine now; I can leave the hospital the day after tomorrow."
