Neither Mama Dean nor Aunt Sienna ever mentioned anything about her parents in front of her.
She always thought she was a child abandoned by her parents, so Mama Dean and Aunt Sienna never talked about it to avoid making her sad.

Aunt Sienna also glanced at the photo Peach held in her heart and nodded, "Yes, this is your mom and dad. Are you wondering why we never told you about them before?"
Bella Acker nodded, "I always thought you didn't say anything because you were worried I'd be sad thinking I was an abandoned child."
"We were indeed afraid you'd be sad, but not because you were abandoned," Aunt Sienna said. "Your parents died over twenty years ago. You were named Bella Acker because when you were left at the welfare center's door, your mom left a note beside you. They loved you forever, so the dean named you Bella Acker."
