Bella paused her hand, "Did I wake you up?"
Damian, with a bit of a headache, couldn't help but squint his eyes, "No."
"You're already starting to cool down from the fever. I'll apply an ice pack, and you can sleep a bit more." Bella said as she took some ice to apply to his palm.
Damian's body was hot, and the ice on his palm felt just right, cool and soothing.
He turned his head to look at her and noticed her eyes were a bit red. He frowned, "Were you crying just now?"
"Mm." Bella said, "Aunt Sienna just gave me my parents' photos, so I got a bit emotional, but I'm fine now."
"Your parents?" Damian frowned and asked, "Where are they?"
"Aunt Sienna said they passed away twenty years ago." Bella lowered her gaze, "Later, Aunt Sienna and I will go to the cemetery to visit my parents. You stay here to rest and help look after Ethan and the others."
"I'll go with you." Damian said, trying to get up.
