The group returned to the valley.
Humbert looked up and down at his disciple Raine, his eyes full of undisguised admiration and satisfaction.
Though since their sparring match he had continually raised his expectations of his disciple's prowess, he still underestimated him!
As for himself, he knew very well what his disciple cared most about this time.
"Raine, rest assured! You publicly killed the Dragon Mage Lord and single-handedly turned the tide—we've all seen it. Your matter, once we return to the Iron Hills, Krom and I will do our best to persuade them for you."
Humbert said this while winking at Raine.
"Persuade what?" Centurion Krom blinked, somewhat confused by what his old friend Humbert was saying.
