"I've heard of kobold tribes and jackal wolfman tribes sometimes living together, but as for flying ones, I really don't know," Chris shook his head and said.
"Judging from the size, they look slightly larger than ordinary kobolds. Is it possible they're giant vampire bats?" Raine asked.
"Giant vampire bats would never live with kobolds—they'd just use kobolds as blood fodder," Fabian shook his head.
"Raine, based on your description, I think I know what they are," Reya's pretty face turned serious as she continued, "They must be winged kobolds!"
"Winged kobolds?"
The others, including Raine, all looked at Reya.
"Yeah, they're rare, but as kin of the kobolds, they often live mixed in with ordinary kobolds. Their status is higher, though, and they're mainly responsible for vigilance and combat."
"Compared to ordinary kobolds, who have to gather food and dig and do chores, winged kobolds usually like to perch up high to rest or keep watch, but..."
