The glowing waves rolled gently against the crystal shore.
Stars drifted through the sky above them even though the sun had not fully set, because in a realm Kael Veyris created, day and night existed together if he wanted them to.
Kael and Ignisia remained seated beside one another in the warm sand.
The peaceful beach stretched endlessly.
No enemies. No duties. No cosmic threats.
Just silence.Ignisia leaned back on her hands, smiling.
…You know…
Kael glanced toward her.
…What?
She smirked.
I think you're relaxing too much.
Kael stared at her calmly.
Is that a problem?
Ignisia grinned.
It means I need to fix that.
Without warning
she lunged at him.Kael did not resist.
Ignisia grabbed his arm and dragged him directly into the glowing water.
SPLASH.
The two landed in the shallow sea.
Ignisia laughed loudly.
"You actually let me do that!"
Kael stood calmly in the water.
"…Yes."
She pointed at him.
"You could've stopped me instantly."
"…Yes."
Ignisia laughed harder.
"…You're impossible."Ignisia suddenly turned and ran across the water's surface.
"Catch me if you can."
Kael watched silently.
Then vanished.
Ignisia stopped instantly.
"…Wait.
Kael appeared directly in front of her.
"…Caught."
She blinked.
"…That's cheating."
Kael answered simply.
"…No rules were stated."
Ignisia burst out laughing.
"…Unbelievable."As time passed, the two simply walked along the shoreline.
Water touching their feet.
The breeze soft.
The stars above glowing brighter.
Ignisia looked ahead quietly.
"…You know…"
"…When I first met you, I never imagined life would become like this."
Kael glanced at her.
"…How did you imagine it.
She smiled faintly.
"…Honestly.
"…Probably endless fighting."
"…Constant chaos."
"…Always trying to survive."
A pause.
Then she looked at him.
"…But now I just spend time with the strongest being in existence on beaches he creates because he felt like it."
Kael nodded slightly.
"…That is accurate."
She laughed again.
"…You really don't know how funny you are sometimes."They stopped near the edge of the shore.
The glowing sunset reflected in the endless water.
Ignisia's voice softened.
"…Thank you."
Kael looked at her.
"…For what?"
She smiled gently.
"…For giving all of us a place where we don't have to struggle anymore."
"…A place where we can just live."
Kael looked at the horizon.
Silent for a moment.
Then:
"…You all made this place worth creating."
Ignisia froze.
Her face turned red slightly.
W-Wow.
That was unexpectedly sweet.
Kael blinked.
…Was it?
Ignisia laughed softly.
…Yes.She stepped closer and rested against him again.
The waves shimmered.
The sky glowed with stars and galaxies.
The peaceful realm remained still.
And for a long while
they simply stood there together.
No words needed.
No action required.
Just enjoying the moment.Even for beings beyond all existence
sometimes the greatest moments were not battles or power…
but quiet peace beside someone who mattered.
