Aurora slowly shifted her gaze around the cave.
There were three other men besides Vale and the elderly stranger. She studied each one carefully, memorizing their appearances, positions, weapons, and distance from her. None looked familiar. Their body language suggested they were warriors rather than ordinary tribe members.
"Navi. Are there more people outside?" She asked through the mindlink.
[Host, there's a group of seven beastmen positioned outside.]
So, she had a total of thirteen people to handle. Compared to hundred of demon beasts, it's nothing.
Aurora calmly tested the ropes around her wrists and found them loose. Very loose. Perhaps they believed the head injury had weakened her. And that assumption would be useful.
She stopped testing the ropes and looked back toward the elderly man.
Lyria was still speaking, apparently eager to recount how they had managed to capture her, but Aurora didn't bother listening. Her attention was elsewhere.
