Life became strangely peaceful for Aurora after the academy finally began operating. For the first time since arriving in the Beastworld, she wasn't constantly racing against time, traveling from one tribe to another, or trying to personally teach an entire settlement everything she knew before moving on. She could finally work at her own pace.
Her settlement was growing steadily around her, the number of disciples increased as more tribes sent representatives, her five husbands were always nearby to help whenever she needed them, and most importantly, the knowledge she had introduced was spreading far beyond the places she had personally visited.
Tribes were teaching neighboring tribes. Students were returning home and teaching their families. Hunters were sharing improved preservation techniques, females were teaching weaving and stitching, farmers were exchanging seeds, and craftsmen were experimenting with new tools.
