Aurora remained lost in her thoughts for so long that she almost forgot the four men surrounding her were still awake. It was Reis's quiet voice that finally pulled her back.
"What's wrong?" he asked softly. "Why aren't you sleeping?"
Aurora blinked and turned toward him, only to realize something else. None of them were asleep. Kellen's eyes were open, his arm still resting loosely around her waist. Asher was watching her with quiet patience, while Elixir and Reis were equally awake. Apparently, her silence had been noticed long before she realized it.
She slowly pushed herself upright, and the movement immediately caused all four men to follow. Within seconds, the enormous bed that had seemed so spacious earlier suddenly felt crowded again as all five of them sat facing one another.
