For some strange reason, Aurora simply couldn't fall asleep.
She had already changed positions more times than she could count. First on her back, then on her side, then the other side. She even buried herself deeper beneath the soft hide covering her before throwing it away again when it suddenly felt too warm. Nothing worked. Her body felt tired after another busy day, yet her mind remained unusually awake.
As she shifted once more, she felt the arm draped around her waist move ever so slightly.
Asher stirred in his sleep, and she immediately froze. The Alpha didn't wake up, but his brows knitted together briefly before relaxing once more. Guilt immediately crept into Aurora's heart. She had already disturbed his sleep enough.
