Aurora shifted her gaze from Lyria and turned to look at Soren. Other than the woman, the second loudest voice accusing her tonight was his.
And while she understood why Lyria was so hostile toward her and was going to such lengths to ruin her reputation, she couldn't understand what was Soren's problem with her.
Throughout the past two weeks, she hadn't once felt this man's prejudice toward her decreasing even in the slightest. And though he did try to not scowl at her very presence or argue with her all the time, he seemed to be waiting for the right moment to accuse her of wrongdoings.
It was as if he refused to believe she could ever change. And no matter how hard Aurora tried to recall, there was no recollection in original owner's memories about what exactly she did to the Tiger beastman to make him distrust and dislike her this much.
