Before leaving the guest caves, Aurora stopped near Soren and fixed him with a pointed stare.
The tiger beastman immediately straightened slightly under her gaze.
"Make sure no one from the tribe comes to disturb me for the rest of the day," she said calmly.
The words themselves sounded simple enough. But both of them clearly understood the hidden meaning behind them. Aurora was reminding him not to fail in his duty again.
Soren's jaw tightened faintly at the subtle warning, obviously understanding exactly what she implied. Earlier, Young Lord Reis had managed to reach her cave without anyone properly keeping track of his movements inside Tiger Tribe territory. And while Aurora herself did not entirely blame Soren for it anymore, she still had every intention of making sure such situations did not repeat casually.
Especially not today.
