Commorragh's skies were now shrouded in war and smoke, the entire city resembling a burning hell. Yet, in the Chaos-occupied zone, Abaddon's command center exuded an eerie calm.
Abaddon's massive battle armor clanked heavily on the floor, and the claw of horus gleamed with a dark red light. He stood on a high pile of rubble, observing the direction of the Chaos Host's advance, his Chaos Astartes subordinates progressing in an orderly fashion under his command. Behind him, the Legion banners flew high, and the air was thick with blood and malice.
"All of this must succeed," Abaddon murmured, his deep voice echoing like thunder through the camp. "Failure is unacceptable."
A Chaos Astartes, with an Aeldari head tied to his waist, approached him, knelt on one knee, and said, "Warmaster, Typhus is mobilizing more plague Legions from another Webway. He says he has Nurgle's command, and he needs..."
Abaddon sneered, turning his head to look at the distant, fire-lit battlefield: "Tell Typhus he can mess with his things as much as he wants, but don't slow down our overall strategy. As for Ahriman, he better not be tinkering with those damned spells again; Magnus almost ruined Chaos entirely."
Just then, a Chaos Astartes rushed over: "Warmaster! Reconnaissance reports that the Imperial Army is rapidly assembling, and two elite units have already breached our outer defenses. Their objective is to link up with those Ark Aeldari positions!"
Abaddon's expression instantly darkened further, the claw of horus slightly raised, as if it was about to tear the messenger apart the next second.
He slowly said, "Very good, the Imperium finally couldn't hold back. This is exactly the opportunity I need. Full attack! This isn't Cadia; our combat power is balanced with theirs!"
He waved to a tactical officer nearby: "Order all Space Marine Chapters to launch a full counterattack against the Imperial Army. Our goal is not just to stop them, but to completely shatter their morale! Typhus and Ahriman's forces must go to the front line and plug their breakthrough points."
Meanwhile, in the Imperial command center, Li Feng looked at the tactical screen and took a deep breath. He said to Russ, Khan, and several Chapter Masters: "The Chaos Commander must be Abaddon. He needs a victory to redeem his failed reputation at Cadia. This is our chance."
Chagatai nodded and interjected, "But his troops are very difficult to deal with, especially Typhus and Ahriman. One of them excels at turning the battlefield into a plague hell, and the other is one of the most dangerous sorcerers."
Li Feng smiled slightly, pointing to the Chaos Core position on the tactical map: "So this time, we will do the opposite and break their Core morale. Fundamentally destroy the belief of Chaos. Russ, Khan, you lead your forces directly into the Chaos defenses and force Typhus and Ahriman out."
Russ's lips curved into a smile: "Got it!"
Khan nodded, tapping his finger lightly on his sword hilt: "Alright."
Li Feng looked behind Cain: "Political Commissar, your mission is to ensure our rear is not breached by Chaos. Use all available resources, including the Krieg forces. They are skilled in defense and urban warfare, making them the best choice to stop a Chaos counterattack."
Cain nodded, then began issuing orders to his staff.
"As for Abaddon," a cold glint flashed in Li Feng's eyes, "he's mine. I will personally take care of this problem."
Everyone was stunned for a moment, and Russ was the first to break the silence: "Uncle Li, are you sure? This is Abaddon; he's not an ordinary guy."
Li Feng, however, showed a playful smile: "Don't worry, I have my plan."
As the orders were given, the Imperial Army's war machine quickly sprang into action. Armored units rumbled forward, Astartes, supported by Battle Sisters, boarded landing craft, and the battlefield atmosphere grew increasingly tense.
At this moment, in an inconspicuous corner, a tablet on a stand lit up, and Sanguinius's image appeared. After listening to Li Feng's plan, she actually shook her head and gave a wry smile:
"So, after this, do I go to Macragge to find you? Or do we meet on Terra? Never mind, I'll go to Macragge. I'll bring Cawl with me."
"Stay tuned," Li Feng waved to the image. "Oh, and don't forget to bring Dorn, Konrad Curze, and Perturabo... and those two cultivation vials."
Sanguinius hung up the call, crossed her legs, and placed the tablet on the nearby sofa, then said indifferently:
"Speak, what does the Necrons who snuck onto our Ark want to do?"
At this moment, opposite Sanguinius, a silver metal skeleton was bound and kneeling before her by several Gold Armored Imperial Guards.
Trazyn had completely lost his composure. After the Battle of Cadia, he had disguised himself as an Adeptus Mechanicus priest, hoping to sneak onto the Ark to thoroughly record this "wonder," even for a Necrons.
He was exposed on the Ark because Trazyn, when he accidentally passed Sanguinius and the Imperial Guards, referred to Sanguinius as "lady" instead of "mother of intelligence."
As a result, Sanguinius immediately subdued him with The Force, and he was promptly bound by the Imperial Guards.
"That... I was just curious..." Trazyn said awkwardly, and Sanguinius immediately waved her hand.
At this moment, Little Kitten walked over, grabbed Trazyn, and began shaking him upside down... Immediately, a pile of things fell out of Trazyn's robe. There was an STC made by Li Feng, a "test version lightsaber," a zaku model... and a "dog collar" with Li Feng's name on it.
Sanguinius's face darkened, and Trazyn immediately said:
"I can explain, don't hit me... Also, you're Canadian, and Canadians are all good people... Ah ah ah ah ah!"
...The battlefield of Commorragh was as hot as purgatory, with war raging in every street and alley, and Chaos Warmaster Abaddon personally led the Black Legion in a direct confrontation with the elite forces of the Imperial Astartes.
In the center of the battlefield, Abaddon's massive and ferocious figure was like a walking god of destruction. His battle armor gleamed with an evil metallic luster in the firelight, and each swing of the claw of horus took the lives of several enemies, accompanied by low howls and splattering blood.
"You False Emperor's lackeys!" Abaddon roared, his voice thundering across the entire battlefield. "Your Primarchs couldn't kill me, what can you do to me?!"
Jaghatai Khan rode on a speeding attack motorcycle, his White Scars warriors shouting battle cries beside him, launching a swift charge. The crescent scimitar in Khan's hand carved an arc of light, carrying merciless coldness directly towards Abaddon's head.
However, Abaddon merely parried the deadly blow with a slight block from the claw of horus. He sneered and countered with a backhand claw, knocking Khan off his motorcycle and sending him rolling several meters backward.
"Nothing more than that! Last time, you two brothers ganged up on me, two against one. But now, Jaghatai Khan, I want to duel you." Abaddon strode forward, each step shaking the ground around him like an earthquake.
Khan got up from the ground, took off his helmet, and deliberately smoothed his braid. When Abaddon saw this, he became furious. After his hair was knocked off, he now wore a wig with an updo... Why was he so obsessed with the updo? Because... Horus's gene-seed would make all warriors look like Horus... And there was only one head on the battlefield! Only a braid could highlight the difference between himself and a regular Space Marine!
Just then, Leman Russ led his Space Wolves warriors from the other side. He roared, swinging his great axe, with wolf howls like a tide behind him. The Space Wolves, like a tempest, tore the surrounding Black Legion warriors to shreds.
Russ charged directly at Abaddon, his great axe striking Abaddon's head like thunder. However, Abaddon did not retreat; a black shield glowed on his Chaos battle armor, and the claw of horus met Russ's attack.
"Hmph! Again? Do you think I'll be caught in a pincer attack by you two again? This time, I have the blessings of the Chaos Gods / The Four Gods!"
"Bang!" A deafening explosion erupted, The Force of their clash creating a shockwave in the center of the battlefield that sent surrounding Soldiers flying.
"Russ, your recklessness will be your funeral!" Abaddon sneered, the claw of horus erupting with the energy of the four chaos gods, violently pushing Russ back.
He then lunged forward, swinging the draconian sword horizontally. The black blade sliced through the air, coiling towards Russ's chest like a venomous snake.
Though Russ was pushed back, he reacted extremely quickly, bending and rolling, narrowly dodging the attack. However, Abaddon's power completely surpassed his, followed by a swift knee strike directly to Russ's abdomen, sending him flying several meters and crashing heavily onto the wreckage of a burnt-out transport vehicle.
Khan leaped up from the ground, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth. He roared and charged at Abaddon again with his blade, while the White Scars warriors focused their fire, attempting to suppress Abaddon with fierce firepower.
But Abaddon's battle armor seemed completely immune to conventional gunfire. He spread his arms, and an evil energy spread from his body like a black whirlwind.
The surrounding bullets and energy beams were twisted and devoured, and the White Scars warriors were even directly thrown back by this energy, screaming as they fell to the ground, unable to get up.
"White Scars? Space Wolves?" Abaddon let out a low sneer, "In my eyes, you are nothing but rags under my claws! I am not the same as I once was!"
At this moment, his wig could no longer withstand such pressure and was blown away by the wind. And at this moment, Abaddon's face, in the eyes of Russ and Khan, bore a 5% resemblance to Horus who fell to Chaos ten thousand years ago, only lacking 5% of senile dementia.
