Honestly, if their return ticket hadn't already been booked, Eugene and Arthur would have flown back right after Eugene finished watching the scenes he needed to see.
But the perk of having a competent, hand-picked production crew--as opposed to the existence of a few parasites in the pre-production team--was that there was not much Eugene could critique--if there was any at all. Even as he watched the recorded scenes to see if they needed to have more retakes, everything looked fine already.
There was only so much Arthur could do without proper studio equipment; he spent around two days going around and looking for the area's traditional music, and Eugene used the chance to visit local libraries.
At first, Eugene thought having me time like this would be exciting. They were practically always together, after all. Even with a lot of friends, Eugene was the type who would just do his own thing, so he felt like staying together all the time wouldn't be healthy.
He was wrong.
