After watching the old man walk back to his house, the team immediately climbed the hill. It wasn't very high nor far from the cliff, probably just twenty minutes of hiking on a clear trail.
The trail didn't lead to any of the cliff sides, however, just to the peak and the old man's family cemetery on the other side. The alphas on the team, and those with more muscles, were in charge of hauling the equipment and props, so Arthur had to go first, separately from Eugene.
Thankfully, it wasn't a situation of a totally foreign environment, so Arthur wouldn't fail to find Eugene. But then again, if the alpha was already in full focus, he wouldn't be looking for Eugene much. The one who didn't have much work--namely Eugene--could just find him first.
When the team turned toward a discreet path that had been marked by the landowner's employees, Eugene couldn't help but gaze at the other side of the hill. At his cliff, obscured by tall and thick shrubs.
