The lake was still relatively near the hotel and the rented house, so they could come with a taxi, rented cars, or even walk--if they were fit enough.
The location of the cliff they would use, however, was a bit far. Furthermore, it was privately owned, and there was no parking lot they could use to accommodate many vehicles. Because of this, Ashley provided them with a bus.
The writers immediately called him over when he stepped inside the vehicle, telling him to sit with them. Might as well, since Arthur had to discuss something with the sound operator.
"Eugene, did you go to the festival yesterday?" the youngest writer asked.
Eugene nodded. "I went in the morning and returned at lunch."
"Oh, no wonder we couldn't find you there," she sighed. "I want to go around the festival with you."
"Haha...too bad."
"Why do you want to go with him?" the senior writer who, for some reason, had always gotten silenced by the others, chimed in. "Don't disturb someone's date."
