Unfortunately for Arthur, the heavens weren't on his side.
"What do you mean our names aren't there?"
Things went wrong almost immediately. Arthur had planned a cooking class for their date, one specializing in cakes and pastries. For foodies like them, it was a perfect activity. Eugene even took a day off so they could go on the weekend since it was the only empty slot for that week.
At least, it was supposed to be.
But when Arthur checked his reservation, the receptionist told him that their name wasn't registered for that day's session. Somehow, the person in charge of it had mistakenly put him in the wrong month bracket.
Arthur looked as livid as Hannah had half an hour ago.
"I've already made a down payment and even received a confirmation," he fished out his phone, shoving it in front of the receptionist--and the manager, who came afterward--with a deep scowl on his face. "Look!"
