Eugene had seen children cry when their parents left for work, but it was his first time seeing a parent cry instead. Knowing Arthur, it might not even be an exaggeration.
Honestly, Eugene had almost forgotten that this alpha was actually someone with a real job. Arthur came in the morning to cook them breakfast, and Eugene would come home to him cooking dinner or playing with Hannah in the living room.
