Kenneth stared at his reflection in the full-length mirror as he fastened the straps around his chest and his right thigh.
Once everything was secured, he stepped back and studied himself.
He'd grown three inches taller over the last three months, now standing at over 6 feet. His body looked fuller now and packed with muscles he'd been training since the start of their break. He'd been going at it vigorously, and was surprised to find that he was now roughly the same weight and shape he'd been in his old life. Though he missed the height, he didn't think it was necessary with the way he was now.
He couldn't help feeling proud of the work he'd put in and strove to get even stronger so he could surpass his previous self.
His eyes slipped to his tactical uniform. New and improved, etched with his name, type, and his Division. It was charcoal-grey, and hugged his new frame without restricting his movements.
