Akira still had an uncontrollable smile on his face as he walked out of Sajuna's room.
He just couldn't get enough of Sajuna's adorable, dazed look.
"Akira-kun, you're smiling very happily," Sayouye's mom said with a smile, looking at Akira as he emerged from Sajuna's room, causing his smile to freeze.
Akira subconsciously glanced at Sajuna's Dad and, as expected, saw that Sajuna's Dad had put down his newspaper at some point and was staring intently at him.
"Auntie," Akira stammered in response.
"Because Sajuna..."
Before Akira could finish, Sayouye's mom interrupted soothingly, "Are you going to say that Sajuna is just too cute?"
"Sajuna used to tell me often that Akira-kun praised her for being cute."
She really is cute, Akira couldn't help but think.
The group walked into the living room and sat down at the dining table, waiting for Sajuna to come out of her room.
A moment later, Sajuna emerged from her room. She was wearing a pink checkered dress, making her look tall and slender, with the aura of a model.
Sajuna's cheeks were flushed, and she looked a little embarrassed as she saw her whole family looking at her. She opened her mouth and explained her situation.
"Sorry, I stayed up too late last night."
Sayouye's mom waved it off, telling Sajuna to sit down quickly.
"Come and eat."
After they finished eating, Akira sat on the living room sofa, waiting for Sajuna to get ready. Then, he left the house with the prepared Sajuna.
Today's weather was exceptionally clear. A few birds occasionally flew through the green treetops on both sides of the street, making the leaves rustle. Looking up, the endless green seemed to cool the scorching weather by a few degrees.
The two walked side by side under the trees, the shade enveloping them. Sunlight occasionally pierced through the dense leaves, scattering onto Sajuna's shoulder through the wind-blown gaps, then slowly sliding down her well-proportioned upper body, like a classical art painting from medieval Europe, blooming like flowers in Akira's heart.
In reality, Sajuna was far from as perfect as Akira imagined her to be. For example, Sajuna's chest was not as full as other girls', but Akira was already satisfied, because Sajuna's current appearance was already enough to make people exclaim how such a beautiful girl had grown up, often making people sigh at her cuteness.
Sajuna turned her head and saw Akira looking at her gently. She tugged lightly on his clothes, then said as if reminding him, "Aki-Kun, where are we going to buy them?"
Sajuna blinked her eyes after she spoke, not seeming to be feigning cuteness.
They had come out with Sajuna today to buy art supplies for her, as it was already summer vacation and the art room supplies at school could no longer be used.
Now she had to buy the relevant items herself.
"Does Sajuna's teacher have any suggested places?" Akira replied calmly. He wasn't very familiar with art-related items, as he was just a regular college student.
"My teacher seemed to recommend a store, but I feel like we should check out a few more," Sajuna said, blinking her eyes. She hugged Akira's arm, then looked up, pretending to think for a moment, and offered her idea.
But Akira always felt that Sajuna wanted to spend more time with him, even if it was just wandering around in stores.
"Okay." Akira nodded, took out his phone, and asked Sajuna, "Where's the first stop?"
"Let me see," Sajuna said, also pulling out her phone and carefully looking at her schedule.
A large part of why she woke up late this morning was because she wanted to plan today's date locations and timetable.
Looking at her phone, Sajuna quickly gave an address for a shopping mall, but Akira felt like he had been to that mall before and that it didn't have any places selling art supplies.
However, he didn't need to expose Sajuna's little trick. After all, he had already dedicated today's time to Sajuna, and no matter how she messed with him, he wouldn't get angry.
Sajuna led Akira by the hand, walking ahead, looking incredibly excited.
The two got on the train and, after a short ride, got off at their stop.
"Are we almost there?" "Almost."
Sajuna looked at Akira with her head tilted, then reached out and tugged on his sleeve, her eyes glancing towards the ice cream shop on the corner of the street.
"What's wrong?" Akira asked. When Sajuna didn't speak, he noticed where she was looking, so he took her to queue at the ice cream shop.
The line wasn't very long, and they quickly bought the ice cream they wanted.
Akira handed the vanilla ice cream he bought to Sajuna, saying, "If you want it, just say so. What's there to be shy about?"
Sajuna took the ice cream and took a big bite, muttering indistinctly, "I just wanted Aki-Kun to buy it for me on his own."
Mid-sentence, she couldn't help but chuckle. She had intended to blame Aki-Kun, but then realized he hadn't done anything wrong, and it seemed like she was just throwing a tantrum.
Sajuna led Akira to their destination mall, pulling him directly to the men's fashion section, apparently wanting to buy him some clothes.
Akira himself didn't want to buy any clothes. For him, the clothes in his closet at home were already enough.
But if Sajuna wanted to buy them for him, he couldn't help but feel happy.
Many boys aren't sure if their girlfriends really like them. There's a simple way to tell: see if your girlfriend picks out clothes or daily necessities for you.
Akira was someone who loved playing dress-up with Sajuna, always wanting her to try different outfits, but due to certain reasons, he had to temporarily suppress his ideas.
As for more excessive ideas, he would wait until their relationship was closer to consider them.
Sajuna kept pulling Akira to try on all sorts of clothes. Akira preferred to buy dark-colored clothes like gray or black, as they would never look bad no matter how he wore them.
But Sajuna felt that those colors didn't match her usual outfits, so he listened to Sajuna's idea.
Akira thought he still had many clothes in his closet and that buying one would be enough.
But Sajuna said she had many clothes she wanted to match with Aki-Kun, so she bought several more sets.
Once Sajuna had chosen the clothes, they left the mall with their purchases. Akira looked at the two of them, almost fully loaded, and asked Sajuna, "How are we going to buy your art supplies like this?"
Sajuna chuckled, "Then we'll just buy a lot later, and have the boss deliver them to our house?"
"That would probably be very expensive," Akira estimated.
"Art-related things are generally very expensive, so the delivery fee isn't much," Sajuna said. As she spoke, the summer sun shone on her cheeks, and her expression suddenly looked a little nervous.
"Aki-Kun, how about having the things we buy delivered to your house?"
