Though he said he wanted to wake Sajuna, the things he desired to do in his heart remained steadfast.
Akira looked down at Sajuna's sleeping face, feeling as if the sunlight was shining directly on her cheeks, glistening faintly in his eyes.
He seemed to be able to see every short, soft hair on Sajuna's cheeks and earlobes, a faint blush on her snow-white neck, her skin appearing even more delicate than usual.
Her pink long hair was scattered across the pillow, giving her the appearance of a virtuous wife.
Akira felt a ripple in his heart just by looking at Sajuna like this.
Unable to resist for a moment, Akira lowered his head and gently kissed Sajuna's forehead, then caressed her soft cheek.
His other hand was not idle either, but held Sajuna's now-loosened hands.
Feeling the warmth and touch from Sajuna's cheek and the palm of her left hand, Akira's heart was instantly filled with satisfaction.
He did not intend to do anything more; after all, such a situation always made one's thoughts wander, carrying an impure connotation.
So Akira chose to quit while he was ahead, leaning down and softly calling Sajuna's name close to her ear.
"Sajuna."
"Sajuna."
"Sajuna-chan."
"Sajuna-chan, it's time to get up."
His voice went from loud to soft, from gentle to calm, slowly causing Sajuna's brow to unfurrow.
Akira watched Sajuna, who still hadn't woken up, realizing she had probably adapted to the sounds in the room, and couldn't help but gently pinch Sajuna's earlobe.
Soft, warm—two sensations suddenly conveyed themselves to Akira's heart.
The earlobe was indeed a sensitive spot for girls; as soon as Akira pinched Sajuna's earlobe, before he could even do anything mischievous, Sajuna's earlobe immediately turned a faint pink, and Sajuna's body trembled slightly, as if sensing something.
"Sajuna, wake up."
Sajuna finally reacted; her body involuntarily shivered, then she frowned.
Her right hand, held in Akira's grasp, struggled for a moment but couldn't pull free.
Then, with her eyelashes trembling slightly, she slowly opened her eyes.
As if feeling her right hand temporarily "controlled," Sajuna extended her left hand and gently rubbed her eyes, still appearing half-asleep as she vaguely looked at Akira.
"Aki-Kun."
Her voice was so muddled it was almost unrecognizable.
Akira then slowly released his hold on Sajuna's hand, sat up straight, and smiled as he looked at Sajuna.
"Sajuna, good morning."
Sajuna yawned, rubbed her sleepy eyes, and then, as if unable to distinguish reality from dreams, instinctively replied:
"Good morning, Aki-Kun."
Then, as if she had just realized, she widened her eyes, looking at the suddenly appearing Akira.
She couldn't help but shrink into the thin quilt, her cheeks flushed, as she asked Akira:
"Aki-Kun, why are you in my room?!"
"Because Sajuna was lazy in bed this morning and didn't get up," Akira smiled.
"So Auntie asked me to come wake Sajuna up."
"Mom, Mom…" Sajuna hesitated, but in the end, she didn't say anything to blame her mother.
After all, what Mom asked Aki-Kun to do wasn't unpleasant.
And having Aki-Kun wake her up indeed meant she didn't have to worry about anything strange happening…
"Does Sajuna not like this?"
Akira asked, looking at the conflicted Sajuna.
"Is it because you think you don't look good without makeup in the morning?"
"No, it's not," Sajuna shook her head.
"It's just, it's just that I've never been woken up like this by Aki-Kun before."
Sajuna looked at Akira, then said as if to reassure him:
"Sajuna doesn't mind Aki-Kun entering Sajuna's room."
"It's just that Aki-Kun hasn't come in very often, so I'm a little unaccustomed to it."
As Sajuna said this, her cheeks unconsciously turned to the side; she dared not look at Akira's reaction.
She somehow felt that such words sounded very much like a girl inviting her boyfriend into her room to do naughty things.
It made her seem very eager.
"Sajuna doesn't dislike me."
Akira said as if he had let out a sigh of relief, wiping away nonexistent sweat from his forehead with an exaggerated gesture, as if he hadn't been the one doing mischievous things to Sajuna just now.
"I thought Sajuna had forgotten what we talked about yesterday, and that's why she overslept like this."
Sajuna heard Akira's words, and an anxious expression appeared on her face.
"No, it's just that I wanted to see Aki-Kun so much last night that I was too excited and went to bed very late."
Akira watched Sajuna relax, gently stroking Sajuna's hair, and Sajuna cooperatively snuggled into his palm.
After a moment of such tenderness, Akira remembered he was supposed to wake Sajuna up, and then slowly stood up from the bed.
"Aki-Kun, what's wrong?"
Sajuna looked at Akira with a puzzled expression; they were still being intimate, so why did Aki-Kun look like he was about to leave?
"Because Sajuna needs to get up; I came to wake Sajuna up."
Akira said this, unable to resist gently flicking Sajuna's nose.
Sajuna instinctively recoiled, then shyly covered her pajamas with the quilt.
"It's all Aki-Kun's fault for making me forget to get up!"
Watching Sajuna say this, Akira couldn't help but smile, walked towards the door, and turned his head to ask Sajuna, who was still hugging the quilt:
"Do you need my help, Sajuna?"
"I don't need Aki-Kun's help at all! Aki-Kun, get out!"
Akira shook his head, feeling a faint sense of regret in his heart, walked to the door, and slowly closed it.
Sajuna watched Akira leave the room, then slowly touched her flushed cheeks, unable to help but murmur to herself:
"Is this what a summer vacation date is like?"
Sajuna moved the quilt covering her body to the side, extended her slender legs, and slowly stepped onto the floor.
Sajuna, walking barefoot on the floor, made no sound.
She slowly walked to the door and pressed her ear against the door panel, as if to confirm whether Akira was eavesdropping.
After confirming that Aki-Kun was not eavesdropping at the door, Sajuna felt a sigh of relief in her heart, but also a faint annoyance.
After all, she was charming, wasn't she?
Sajuna turned and opened the wardrobe, looking at the dazzling array of clothes inside, and began to fret.
"Which dress should I wear today?"
"What kind of clothes does Aki-Kun like?"
Sajuna looked at the clothes she had bought with Aki-Kun before; she felt like she had worn them several times already, and wearing them again wouldn't be surprising.
However, since she was going out to buy things today, it probably didn't matter which one she wore.
Sajuna thought this.
